Cake as always delicious, not a fan that when you go to the store to order you have to now order online, also not a fan of you only giving us 4 color options, Just wish we have the option to choose the colors we want on our cake since you are paying it. I use to work in a bakery and when we decorated cake, we did as the customer asked.

The cake was very moist and well made. While the decorations were nice, the amount of options did not come close to the cake I ordered the previous year. I was disappointed only in the options, but I knew that when I placed the ordered, but it was made nicely.

Disrespectful bakery employees. The bakery employees would not let me order a cake and pay for it in person even though I drove all the way up there. I had to go online to purchase it even though I saw other people ordering cakes before them and saw them pre pay for them as well. The employees are also rude.

Getting the cake ordered was not easy. I made a special trip to order the cake per the directions of an employee from a previous visit to get instructions. When I got there I was told I had to order on line only. Online will not allow you to purchase a full sheet cake with two flavors. I couldn't get the ruffled edging on the sides like the committee wanted. The ruffles appears to be available only on one cake. We wanted to use our logo for the event and I was told I would have to come back after ordering the cake with the receipt and a release form for the logo. All that information was different than the original information I was given. The cake was excellent but the process to get it ordered is horrible.

Upon picking up my cake at a scheduled time, there was no one in the bakery to assist me. i WAITED 34 minutes before a random employee took the initiative to help me (just had to hand me my cake). When I got the cake the writing was white in color...just like the icing so you could barely read the inscription. Waited another 15 min for someone to come and fix the cake, howeve4r nobody showed up....not even a manager. So I just took the because it was already paid for and hurried to the party for my mother's 85th birthday

The colors on the cake nor the design was not as ordered. When brought to the attention of a bakery worker they said there was nothing they could do. The birthday party was the same day so we had no option other than to purchase. If we had another option we would not have purchased.

Cake was dry and the writing looked like a 5 yr old wrote it. Had the text wrong and they tried to fix it but all they did was tried to wipe it off. I have ordered cakes and cupcakes from Sam's for over 20 years and they are usually really good. Online ordering is okay but no place to make notes or instructions. The restrictions on how it is decorated is sad as well.

I ordered a custom birthday cake as designed on the website for a family member. I was really concerned as to how the cake would look once I picked it up because I ordered online. I must say I was very pleased with how it was designed when I picked it up and with the fresh, moist taste. All of my family were pleased as well. Also, the price was affordable for the half sheet size. I will definitely order another cake.

I was not pleased with the cake that was ordered a week in advanced. The picture that was given was not on the cake and the color of the writing was wrong. They then took the cake and scrapped the whole writing and top off and tried to redo everything with the picture and correct color writing. The cake hade whipped frosting, so later at my event the cake wrinkled real bad and the whole cake when presented was a mess and it was refrigerated as required due to the whipped frosting. I was highly disappointed. Don’t know if I will order a cake from this particular Sam’s ever again.

Although I'm not one to downplay on the cakes that Sam's makes, I personally love them. The problem is that when you're trying to custom order them online you don't have full options. For example a half sheet chocolate cake, along with a half sheet White. Not everybody in my family likes chocolate cake and not everybody likes the white. But we had to settle with a white cake because there's no option to get a full sheet or even a half sheet without getting them halved as was done before. The colors, it would be better if you give more option on the colors. If you're going to limit us to things your way what's the point of ordering the cake the way we wanted. At least I have the choice of whipped or buttercream though. That's pretty much the good thing about this.
