Last 2 boxes have been a big disappointment. Odd shapes of fish from nuggets to thick fish sticks to a few regular size fillets. Fish doesn’t heat up evenly and just isn’t good anymore. Seems there is no quality control so I won’t be purchasing again. What happened?

These little cod filets are great in the air fryer. They have just the right amount of crispness without being too oily. I have only had with rice and tartar sauce, but I bet they would be good as a fish sandwich. You would need at least 2 filets to make the sandwich and they are a little smaller.

I used an air fryer and exactly followed the directions on the box. They turned out unpleasantly mushy. On the flavor side, they didn’t taste too fishy so that’s a plus. I also like that they are wild-caught, if that’s actually true. One piece out of the five I made was inedible because it had hard strands of what seemed to be gristle throughout. I’ll try again and use an oven next time, but only because I hate to waste food. Will not be buying again.

this item is the worst item i have ever bought from sams, i have only tried to make it in airfryer, expecting the fish to come out crunchy, not even close cooked the recommend time some pieces blow open and others just dont get crunchy, i bought breaded fish so it would be crunchy, while the flavor is ok the breading just doesnt cut it

I cooked six pieces of this fish. Have photos of the hard gray skin areas that we couldn't even chew from three of the pieces, plus about a one inch piece of (not flimsy) bone. We plan to throw the remainder of the box in the trash. First time I've had a bad experience with a MM product. So disappointed!

disappointed. they changed the crust what you see on the box is not what the fish is covered with, it used to be this light crust like is on the box and now it is thick tough pancake batter type of something its been dipped in and it's about a quarter inch of crust on the things now terrible and hard to swallow. Ruined a good product, my family members won't eat it anymore. They say it's mostly crust. I don't think we'll be buying this product any longer.

Battered cot filets that go great with wine vinegar in a fish-and-chips style or even between two slices of brioche with mayo or yumyum sauce for a tasty fish sandwich. Beer-batter style breading clings to flaky cod flesh and makes for a great vehicle for ketchup or tartar sauce or even Malt vinegar in the British style! The breading clings better to the fish than most fish-stick-style baked fish. Bake your fries first and then follow the box directions for these cod filets, you won't have to guess on the timing for your fish and chips!

After not having their beer battered cod fillets for a while, we were happy to see them available again. Unfortunately, their "new formulation" is a total disappointment and doesn't measure up to the previous product. The taste is very bland and had to be slathered with tartar sauce to be decent. Plus there was an odd, unpleasant taste that was difficult to describe until I saw another reviewer mention that it contains aluminum. That has to be the odd taste. Additionally, I am not happy that the package says it is "Processed in the USA" intentionally avoiding mentioning the source of the ingredients. We deserve to know where our food originated. I will not knowingly consume any food items from China, and I suspect that is where most of the ingredients were acquired. We will be purchasing beer battered cod fillets elsewhere from now on.

Does not disappoint. real fish filet, NOT pieces and parts. If you like beer battered cod, this is delicious in an airfryer. Just needs a few more minutes then stated to bring it up to temp. Add french fries and coleslaw and you can get 5-6 meals for the price of one restaurant fish and chips.

these taste good when using an air fryer, however why is the bio engineered ingredients and what are they.. not even listed.. i like the taste but I'm always uncomfortable buying stuff that says bio engineered ingredients. companiws need to be more transparent about what we are eating..
