Fantastic

These little cod filets are great in the air fryer. They have just the right amount of crispness without being too oily. I have only had with rice and tartar sauce, but I bet they would be good as a fish sandwich. You would need at least 2 filets to make the sandwich and they are a little smaller.

Tasty for Quick Meal

These are delicious and easy to heat up a few pieces in a toaster oven which is perfect for a single person living alone. I've made a quick fish sandwich for lunch and made rice and vegetables to go with them for dinner. Filets are moist and tasty.

A cat would not eat this!

This is not fit for human consumption! There are chunks of hard, bony cartilage-like substances in it, along with skin. Some parts are so mushy it looks like milk coming out when you cut it. I have never returned a food item in my life that I can recall, but I did with this stuff. Zero stars is more appropriate. Also, FWIW, the box was white, as some other reviewers have noted the change. Sam's was good and did not question the return.

Don't buy

Before these cod fillets were put into the new white packaging, they were really good. They are clearly being processed differently since several times there have been big, inedible tough pieces of fish in the fillets, once with skin! Am VERY disappointed that Sam's has changed these. Will not buy again.

Wonderful and easy, no kidding.

Taste, which is most important, was great. Not fishy. Beer flavor was not over-powering. I had a few left over and re-heated them and they were pretty much the same taste and consistency. They were a solid piece of fish, but tender. They were easy to prepare, first time in the oven with fries and the second time in the Air Fryer. I would purchase them again.

Beer battered for the best fish-and-chips!

Battered cot filets that go great with wine vinegar in a fish-and-chips style or even between two slices of brioche with mayo or yumyum sauce for a tasty fish sandwich. Beer-batter style breading clings to flaky cod flesh and makes for a great vehicle for ketchup or tartar sauce or even Malt vinegar in the British style! The breading clings better to the fish than most fish-stick-style baked fish. Bake your fries first and then follow the box directions for these cod filets, you won't have to guess on the timing for your fish and chips!

Could be better

many of the pieces of fish are tough and chewy.
