These are terrible, slimy fish, breading falls off, terrible in the air fryer. May try hot oil before throwing in the trash, probably not though. I'll stay with Gorton's Beer Battered.

These do not cook well at all in an air fryer! There are directions for it too. Took so long past the recommended time and the battered part still wasn't done.and then the fish was like rubber.

I had hoped we’d really like these, but they were awful. COD is supposed to be flakey and mild. These are not. I rarely write a review but after throwing the whole box away after cooking two, I had to.

I'm not sure this was really Cod. It tasted fishy. I will not buy again, and in fact would throw out the uneaten fillets, except my husband said he would probably eat them.

Great flavor

After not having their beer battered cod fillets for a while, we were happy to see them available again. Unfortunately, their "new formulation" is a total disappointment and doesn't measure up to the previous product. The taste is very bland and had to be slathered with tartar sauce to be decent. Plus there was an odd, unpleasant taste that was difficult to describe until I saw another reviewer mention that it contains aluminum. That has to be the odd taste. Additionally, I am not happy that the package says it is "Processed in the USA" intentionally avoiding mentioning the source of the ingredients. We deserve to know where our food originated. I will not knowingly consume any food items from China, and I suspect that is where most of the ingredients were acquired. We will be purchasing beer battered cod fillets elsewhere from now on.

I bought this for the 1st time this morning, we love it! There is about 15- 16 pieces per package. Has a nice crunch when you bite into it. No fishy flavor to the fillets as most fish does. Great for heart patients if cooking in the air fryer. Will be buying this again!

I'm trying to decide on whether to throw this stuff out or try it again I made some fish sandwiches and when I bit into the sandwich and it was chewy I didn't know fish could be chewy I cooked this in an air fryer and the outside was nice and crispy. I definitely won't be buying this again!

Tiny, irregular shaped scraps of fish. Bag had multiple pieces too tiny to cover a small hamburger bun; it's just junk pieces of fish. You have to oil fry or you'll get a mush ball and even fried they are a disappointment. The good news is, that horrible "warm skunk beer" flavor is done...for now anyway!
