I've heard bad things about front-loading washers, but I am here to tell you that I love this thing. I carefully read the instructions about loading clothes and using the correct (very small) amount of detergent. My clothes come out cleaner than from my old top loader and smelling wonderful. It is pretty easy to set and has more settings than I even really need. I love this thing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second LG Laundry suite I have owned, and LG was my first choice because of the great experience I have had with all LG products. I did some research to compare just to be prudent but this LG washer could not be beat by the competition. It has all the cycles and options I wanted, is quiet and very efficient. I like that I can have a quick wash, or long wash depending on needs. I look like that I have a rinse and spin cycle. I highly recommend all LG products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that there are pre-selected settings for towels, bedding, permanent press, delicates, etc. Makes laundry day much easier. Like that I can set my own water temp/spin also. Clothes are washed perfectly. The chime is really nice too!

The first was a first gen model and lasted my large family for over ten years and countless loads of laundry. This model which I purchased to replace the first one has many new and improved features and what seems to be a larger capacity. I look forward to many years and laundry loads with this machine. All my home appliances and TVs as LG. They make superb products that are easy to use and have the most current technology. Their customer service is excellent. I recommend LG products to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Nice features for the price point. Intuitive controls and easy to use. Large capacity tubs. Cons: This dryer and the matching washer are advertised as compact models that are able to fit in smaller spaces (e.g., 2nd floor closet). My husband and I reviewed spec measurements before purchasing these for our laundry closet. (Our home does not have a laundry room or other room with laundry hook-ups. We literally have a closet with bi-fold doors.) The spec measurements made it seem that they would fit, but when they were installed, they were too deep with all the hoses hooked up that the doors wouldn't close. It's unfortunate that these are the smallest stackable washer and dryer we could find, and they still don't fit. I'm guessing there are other people with a similar issue, so it would be nice if LG would design truly compact models. I would recommend to a friend as long as they don't have to fit these in a small space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago and I am very pleased with it. I found that it cleans the clothing much better. I love that it is almost silent. The various settings help getting the washing the way you want it, whether it is heavily soiled or very delicate lingerie. It does the work perfectly. I highly recommend it especially for short people who have problem getting the clothes out from a top loader.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 13 year old Bosch finally gave up life. Needed a quick replacement and read where LG makes a good front load washer. Bought this model and began using it right away. Very smooth in my opinion and on the high spin cycle seems to be smoother than the Bosch was..even when it was newer. No issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this washer for about a month now, must say it gets the job done and I didn’t even have the washer with the most settings. It’s simple and easy to use. Installation was easy, it fits nice in my laundry room. Just wish it came in other colors except white!

This is our 3rd LG front loader. We use our washer everyday and it is a work house. I love the washer. I just wish it had a higher RPM spin cycle and that it took less time to complete a wash cycle. Also of note and frustration is that the drain hose on this model is too short to reach our stand pipe (unlike the previous 2 models) so I had to find another drain hose and attach it after the delivery/installation was "complete."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the washer for almost three months. It wasn’t balanced when put in so once a repair guy came out and fixed it, much better! There’s no way to cut the sound off which is frustrating if you’re running it with kids sleeping. It can make a racket if you don’t have a large load or your towels/sheets get wound up together. It’s a no frills washer and is just fine for a family of two.
