[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 12 year old front load washer. The LG fit in the space of the old washer , which was a must. I read some reviews that scared me about the LG . They were about leaking from day one and shaking hard enough to make it move. I decided to take a chance because of the washer fitting in the space and the price . It's only been a month and so far the washer has no problems . It cleans very well and I like the feathers the LG washer offers , but only time will tell . If I get the same amount of use as my old one I will be very happy.

I've been using my WM3400CW LG washer for the past year after thoroughly researching machines for my 2-person household. I was looking for environmental impact, price, ease of use and effectivity. I have been very pleased in all areas. Our water use has cut down with this model; it efficiently removes dirt with swift cycles and less detergent than we used to use; motor sound is fairly minimal--I hear it only as background noise from behind two closed doors; there aren't any unnecessary bells and whistles, and it was very well priced. Added bonus: my partner loves the sweet chime sound that indicates a finished cycle. As mentioned in several reviews (and true for most front-loaders), it's necessary to leave both the detergent drawer and loading door open after use to avoid mildew smells. I wipe down the door and usually leave it barely cracked open. I remove the detergent tray and store it upsidedown on a towel between uses. We haven't had to drain the machine as often as suggested. It's an easy process, we just haven't found much excess water stored inside. Load capacity overall is excellent; more than enough space for 2 adults. Great spin cycle even when washing sleeping bags or blankets. Thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our 20 year old dryer started making terrible noise from a motor bearing, I decided to upgrade to this LG dryer to match the LG washer that we bought a few years ago. It is easy to use and senses when the clothes are dry enough to shut off instead of cooking them like the old dumb dryer that we replaced. The lint screen locks in for a very tight seal to keep the exhaust duct clean. This modern dryer upgrade is like comparing an 8 tract stereo to digital music!

Purchased this when our old washer broke. The best idea we have ever had! I adopt special needs animals, and I have to wash a lot of bedding with animal fur and this washer really does such a great job at making things clean, smell fresh and have no fur any longer. Filters are so easy to clean. All of the settings are super customizable for any items of clothing.

I bought this machine about a month ago and I’m very satisfied. Clothes come out cleaner than when I had my top loader. I’ll probably never go with a top loader again. Some washes can be longer than I’m used to, but I’m fine with it if it washes this clean!

The washer is pretty basic and easy to use but I noticed that you can't load too much clothes into it or it won't thoroughly wash your clothes. It might be because front loaders use much less water. There is a speed wash mode which uses even less water so I only use this mode for really small loads. The normal wash sometimes takes up to 90 minutes for one load on heavy soil. All of the different modes take a least an hour to wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this right at 2 years ago. Have already had to have it repaired. Now it's making a grinding sound on start up. It doesn't wash the greatest either. As it's in agitating it actually more of a slow spin rather than agitate back and forth. Also I don't think it uses as much water as it should. Can barely see water in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago. Very happy with quality and performance. One drawback is accessing side vent discharge from both sides of machine. I bought a side vent discharge kit. I wanted machine closer to the wall and needed to discharge vent on right side of machine. Although there was a popouts on both sides of the cabinets for side venting, the placement of internal gas piping would not allow for side venting on the right side.

We knew LG were highly rated products and since we love our LG television so much we decided to go for the best brand out there. The machine is quiet and efficient so what more could one want? I’m sure it will last through many years of washes.
