LG front load WM3400CW washing machine
I have had the washer now for about a week. During this time I have done 8 loads of laundry. I am very satisfied with how the washer is cleaning the cloths. (My previous was a top load machine by a different manufacturer, and did not like the performance). There may be a learning curve for me, as I did a couple large bulky loads of blankets and they seemed to me to be a tad wet when the wash was done. So perhaps I should have chosen a heavy duty cycle, or an extra spin. I’ll have to read more on the suggested cycles in the on-line LG manual for use. On how to choose extra options. As for the rest the machine was extremely quiet. I could not hear it running when I was on the main level of my house. (Washer is in basement and there are only six steps up to main level) so I was very pleased with that. I purchased a set of anti vibration pads for the feet of the washer because I have a slippery flooring. That machine did not move at all. Overall I am very happy with this new unit.

I have had this washing machine only a few weeks, but it seems to be working well. I like the fact that I do not have to use a lot of detergent and that the machine doesn't use as much water as my old top-loader. I have not quite gotten the hang of all the options - there are a lot, but that will come with time (AND I have to wear my reading glasses to be able to figure things out - shoot, I didn't think of that annoying fact when I picked the machine). Interesting fact that I didn't know is that you have to leave the door on the front loader open when you are finished using the machine.

Good Results with Less Detergent!
I needed to replace an old wash machine in my new home. Having previously owned an LG top load machine with good results and based on good reviews in my research, I decided on getting the LG WM3400CW front load wash machine. I have been using my new machine for just over a week. It is important to note that on my first large normal load, I discovered what appeared to be a 'leak' at the rear bottom of the machine (straight below the drain hose). After some research, I discovered this 'leak' can be the result of using too much detergent. I learned all you need to use for a front load washer is max 2 TBSP of HE liquid detergent for a large load and 1 TBSP for a small to medium load. Do not use your detergent cap as a guide! Since reducing the amount of detergent, I have not had any issues. Lesson learned, I am pleased with the wash machine - I like the fact it has many cycle options to customize my wash while it uses less water. I hope to use this wash machine for many years to come!

Great, though cycle lengths aren’t apparent
After less than a week, the washer is great, it’s working as expected. Something we miss from our previous washer (also an LG) is knowing how long each cycle will take when you’re setting it - you don’t find out the length of time until after you’ve chosen a setting and it’s run for a couple of minutes. We’re still figuring out how to reduce the cleaning time.

Where is Refresh Care?
Good washing machine overall, but unfortunately I didn't realize that the Fresh Care feature is not included. My 11 year old LG washer had it. Used it with every load. Should be included with every clothes washer model.

The worst nightmare of the washers!
I bought this on the 4th of July and today 8-8-20 is the first time using it. This washer is awful is like jet taking off. It destroyed part of the laminated floor. It shakes like a blender...please don’t buy this washer.
