[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a very old but reliable Kenmore model. So far, I feel my clothes are cleaner than before which makes me feel…good! It does take a bit longer to wash and dry but I believe it’s worth clean clothes.

I bought the dryer with the matching washer as a set with pedestals. The dryer is straight forward and easy to use. The height is good - everything at eye level. Together with the washer in my laundry room - the set looks commercial which I was surprised and really like!

I had read the reviews about these issues but made the purchase based on the overall reviews and scores. Should LG listen to their customers and update the product accordingly they would have a top notch product. I do not think that Wifi is necessary but usability is.

This LG washer is quite, uses little water, clothes come out spotless. The Delay Start is an awesome feature, load the machine, set it to start an hour before you are planning to be home. Return home and the clothes just finished. Not sitting in the machine for 8 plus hours getting wrinkled!!!

After switching from a top loader, it seems that the new washer uses less soap because the wash cycle uses more movement and therefore generates more suds. I'm very glad I purchased this washing machine.

A repair visit told us the PCB had stopped working and we would need to replace it. The part was not available. LG offered us a partial refund.

It's not surprising that this model gets top marks from a leading consumer organization because it has everything we need plus features that we never thought we'd use but really like now. An example is the ability to select cold water wash with one touch. The controls are easy to understand, the washer is quiet, it's holds a lot of clothes, what's not to like? Good job, LG!

It is very quiet, even when spinning out. Our old top-load washer was so loud that it was hard to talk or hear the TV when it was in the spin cycle.

It works beautifully, uses less detergent, has numerous settings so I can choose how to wash delicate items, towels, etc. I'm older now so leaning over to unload can be uncomfortable. My solution is to sit down - much easier. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you decide on this LG model.

We replaced a failing top-loader with an LG front-loader in our vacation home. We have had a similar LG at our primary home for over 10 years and love it! I have not been disappointed in the new washer; it is quiet and cleans very well—even muddy “dog” towels look great!
