[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because our Samsung washer died and it works quickly and efficiently. Once in a while the door doesn't close correctly, but it tells you clearly what's wrong before the load starts (de error).

After more than 58 years of marriage and never having a matching washer/dryer combo, I was thrilled when these appliances were installed. I thought I knew how to sort, wash and dry laundry. I read the instructions. What a period of adjustment came next! First the hot and cold faucets were mismarked, so the installers hooked them up wrong. It was extremely frustrating to set tap water cold wash and then have my glasses fog up from the heat at the cycle's end. Soon that problem was solved with a service call. My first dryer load wasn't dry at the end of the cycle. It took some time to discern exactly what settings would result in dry clothes. Persistence pays, so now I'm satisfied with the machines. They are very complicated to run, but hopefully they are saving water and power as advertised.

It's very quiet except for when it spins all the wash out of the items... man is it loud!!! it had a rubber-burning smell for the 1st 6mos I had it and it's gone! It's easy to clean and there's no stinky smell. I make sure I wipe down the rubber seal and keep the door cracked. I would definitely recommend!

Basically, we didn’t opt for a model with even more features because this meets our needs. Plus, it’s larger and smarter than the one it replaces, so we’re quite happy with its features.

I had never considered a front loader until my daughter told me about the perks, especially not having to worry about it being out of balance. I bought an LG because I have a LG refridgerator 4 years ago and it's been great. The washer has great features. I like the safety lock feature and how easy it is to use.
