purchased one of these on 5/31/26. a few days later, received an email that it was on back order and delivery was delayed. perfectly fine with me. a few days after that, received an email that my order was cancelled "as I requested" (which I did not). took all day back-and-forthing with customer service and into the next day to figure out what was going on. I was told this model was discontinued. it's been several days since then. if that's true, I have no idea why Sam's club is still listing it on their website. if not, then why was I lied to?

The worst high-efficiency washing machine
Let me tell you: if you don't want your clothes to get dingy, DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE. It doesn't wash! It only dampens the clothes because it doesn't use enough water. There were times when I would take the clothes out after the wash cycle finished, and they weren't even wet. I understand the need to save water, but this is the worst high-efficiency machine out there!

Useful, but know what you're getting.
Hello! I bought this a while ago and have been using it fairly often (1-2/week). I bought a service contract for the maximum years so it covers the longest amount of time. (Good investment for this product 100%). The item started leaking earlier this year from the soap dispenser. Had the service tech come out and verify the leaking (leaked with no soap during their inspection). What was the cause? The spouts on top are angled in such a way that when water is passed through, it sprays onto the walls of the dispenser, which in turn sprays onto the tray and runs the length of it to the front and spills to the front panel. How to fix it? Replace the dispenser tray and dispenser box. Why does this work? because the part wears down over time and eventually becomes loose, allowing for water to seep. How hard is it to fix? Not hard at all, some clamps and screws to remove the top of the washer, the dispenser, and move the hoses over. Why should you care? If you have any kind of flooring that has cracks, is near walls or moulding on the floor, it will pool on the floor and cause damage to the house/subfloor. Recommendations to help prevent damage? Buy a vinyl/laminate floor mat for the washing machine to sit on.
Great Features, Minus Light
Great features on both the washer and dryer. However, both the washer and dryer do not have lights in them. Is it possible to purchase and install lights in the machines?

Excellent washing machine
I've been using this washing machine for a couple of years and have been completely satisfied. It cleans my clothes, but is also gentle on them. I use the cold or low temperature settings and everything comes out clean. I can wash large items, like rugs, The machine has bells and whistles, but also obvious options (e.g., gentle and normal cycles) so I can accomplish what I want. Very happy with my purchase.

Required accessories are not included
I contacted LG Help before purchasing this washer to find out if anything was needed for the installation - specifically hoses. I was assured that everything needed was included. The only accessory mentioned on the site is the optional pedestal. It was only after the installers left today that I read the owners manual that states that the hot and cold water hoses are REQUIRED ACCESSORIES that are sold separately. NO WHERE on this site are the required accessories mentioned. The LG help said there were none, and the installers said nothing. Now I have to buy the hoses and hire a plumber to install them. I am NOT happy.

Buy from Sam’s!
This was purchased as a replacement for a similar LG washer I had for 13 years. It is quiet, cleans well, and allows customizing water temps, soil levels and spin cycles or you can choose preset cycles based on clothing type. Sold by many retailers, but BUY FROM SAM’S CLUB! The free delivery/installation/haul-away is a bargain and can save you around $100. Our appliances were delivered by a company called RXO who did an amazing job. Great communication, expert installation!
No drum light
I just got this washer and two things I noticed right away is that it’s louder than my old washer and there’s no drum light! I feel like I moved backward from my 13 yr old washer that I just replaced. Otherwise, it seems fine. Very simple to operate.

Doesn't get the Soap out
We purchased this washer about five months ago and ever since I have been getting skin rashes. We have had front load washers for 40 years, which was back before they became popular. So we know how to use them and have had lots of experience. We purchased this one because LG seems to have good product ratings. We only use "All Free and Clear" detergent, but noticed this washer doesn't get all the soap out. We even tried putting in less detergent than recommended and had the same issue. This washer is designed to save energy and water but we have to wash our cloths again several times without detergent just to get the soap out. We have even had to wash up to five times without detergent to get the soap out. We think this washer is not programmed properly to get the soap out. I would not recommend this model at all until they figure out what is going on.
