Our previous washer (laundry room on second floor) literally would shake the house during the spin cycle. With this washer, I can’t even tell where it’s at in the cycle because it’s so quiet. The dryer that I purchased is very simple to use. It was easy to be setup and using the dryer is very intuitive. Many devices today to have different aspects to them however, it is nice to have something very easy to use. I am a software programmer and when I do not have to study a manual to use an appliance then I have a good appliance.

We have already scheduled for a maintenance call so hopefully after that I can give 5 stars. Before we moved it was working perfectly.

Favorite feature: large capacity with advantage of equally great cleaning. Spin cycles are effective and greatly reduce drying time needs. Have not had long enough to fully review for all feature and cost savings; while seems inline with noted expectations—have not had long enough to fully realize this opportunity.

I notice my cloths dry faster when hung up or placed in the dryer. Shorter drying time. Trust the LG brand TVs and microwave oven.

It's basket was medium size but often the wash became off balance as we rushed to adjust it. We were going to replace with another top-loading agitator washer, but looked at the front-loading LG 4.5 cu. ft. just before making our final decision. We knew that this LG had the technology that is "smart thinking" about loads and we paused to read the Consumer Report reviews and ratings. We completely changed our minds and we are so glad that we did! We care about our environment and safeguarding our waters, and we live in the Pacific Northwest. Besides, we already had a LG Dryer!

In my opinion, it has earned the evaluation. After a few weeks of use, I am completely satisfied with the quality and efficiency shown in cleaning a variety of fabrics. I am also very impressed with how quiet the machine is while running. This is a top quality product at a very affordable price.

Some cycles can't be customized but you can select a different cycle and customize. Seems to use too little water but clothes come out clean.
