Best purchase of my year! My old washing machine kept overflowing, it wasn't getting smells out of my teens clothes, and there was only 1 setting it worked on. But I hate spending money so I put off buying a new one for over a year. I bought this washing machine after a ridiculous amount of research into what I wanted and needed. The reviews were good and the price was spot on. The only complaint I have is that I waited so long. This thing washes beautifully! It's stable, big enough to handle bulky bedding or an oversized load of towels and clothes come out smelling lovely. I don't have to used very much detergent and the water usage is a fraction of what I had been using for laundry. I very very happy and satisfied with this purchase - highly recommend

Clothes come out clean and the spin cycle gets rid of a good deal of water, so the dryer has less work to do. The balance of the drum is excellent and there is very little vibration when spinning. Many washing options for any type of load you might have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer, when stacked with the matching dryer, fit perfectly in the w/d closet of my condo. Had I not found these units, I would have had a hard time replacing my old units. I did not want the "compact" units. They don't hold a complete set of queen size bedding. This washer has all the features I need with the exception of "Spin only", which is useful when doing hand laundry of delicate items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this machine Sep 2022 but didn’t use it until Jan 2023. Only 2-3 regular loads each month but at end of April the gasket was worn out and broke on 4 sections which created & left many grey rubber/plastic tiny pieces all over the inside machine and on my laundry. I had to vacuum all those rubber/plastic pieces out. The LG service guy was nice, however the way to firm a gasket looks questionable. Also it shows how bad quality LG’s paintings on their machines. It’s effortless to leave scratches on LG’s white painting surface. A very unpleasant & disappointed experience, especially due to a such short using time.

It's very efficient, and much quieter than my previous machine. I like what I have read about LG appliances, and eventually, all my other appliances will be replaced with LG.

BUT, The only thing I am not really impressed is the plastic piece (in the dryer) which holds the electric wire connectors is very brittle and can easily crack. Unfortunately it just snapped off when I tried to tied up the wire connectors. It is a poor design from engineering standpoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a few weeks ago. It is quiet and simple to use. The spin cycle does a nice job drying the clothes. This was an upgrade from a top loader which was easier to load. Things I don't like are that the door cannot be switched (this is a problem for my plumbing) and it already is beginning to smell. The seal gets filled with dog hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re very happy with the performance and value of this machine. However, the installation instructions need to be corrected. They clearly state that the drain must be no more than 8 feet above the floor. Ours is 6 feet, so we expected it to handle the drain without problems. It did not. Water is left in the tub at the end of the cycle. A repair tech explained that the machine cannot handle a drain more than 4 feet above the floor. Why don’t the installation instructions make this clear?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the LG front load washer for 3 years. During that time I have had to call for service 2 times. Both for leaking from the detergent loading area. Luckily we purchased a service contract so there was no out of pocket costs but the fact that we have had to have parts replaced twice seems like a serious design flaw. In addition, the front load gasket does not drain completely. This causes the area to grow what seems to be mold. One of our friends just called and said his LG washer just started leaking about 2 years after they purchased. We bought the front load design because it would use less water but at least the LG version is not a good solution. Clothes does come out clean and we are able to use less detergent. For some reason I am unable to add pictures.

The new LG dryer not only matches our wonderful LG washer in looks, but also in performance, and ease of use. Default settings and fast drying make the machine easy and efficient to use. Special care settings are intuitive and clear. What's not to love?!
