[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy that I was finally forced to buy a new washer, when my old GE top loader leaked and wasn’t worth fixing anymore. Based on a Consumer Reports recommendation, I ordered this washer online expecting it in a few days or at most, weeks. Lo and behold I then got a message saying it would arrive in more than 3 months. I cancelled the order and found a local dealer (Tripodi Appliances in Port Chester NY) who had it available for a similarly reasonable price and I got it delivered and installed in less than a week. I’ve had the washer for 3 months and I’m extremely satisfied with it, especially after I discovered that you need to leave it open for a day to let it dry out so that it won’t stink. It’s much larger than my previous washer and there’s plenty of room for very large loads. I was surprised that it diagnoses the weight and size of the load to determine the wash time. Very impressive, if it’s not a gimmick. The wash comes out very clean and the spin cycle works extremely well. I’m saving a lot on drying time and cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month and so far it is performing well and quieter than our old unit. Well pleased so far. Our other front loader quit after about 12 years. It was not a LG model, but checked Consumer Report and went with LG this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth operation and easy to use. Impressed with the how much water it rings out of the clothes in turn makes the drying time much less. It does take a little longer to spin up on the final part of the wash cycle but understand why. It just wants to make sure the load is not out of balance. Very happy with the machine.

Control panel is laid out very logically in an expected sequential order. Service personal near to area for service if necessary. No need to transport your unit to a work shop in most areas.

There are many wash features to choose from - my only complaint is the descriptions and choice of features are hard to see... wish the writing was larger. But overall its a great product and I'm very happy we went with LG

We have had the LG washer for a little over two months. Still cannot figure out how to set many functions. Instructions are not helpful . For example still cannot set time to do a small load or to prewash a few very dirty items. Cannot stop cycle once it starts. Instructions are

The delicate cycle has never worked! It vibrates so loudly that it can be heard all over the house. It is almost impossible to use the "extra" settings easily - eg the rinse and spin button almost always causes a control lock response instead. Poor design!

We had been negative about front loaders in the past, but took a good hard look this time. We've had it 25 days now, and we're finding more things to like about it all the time. We have it sitting next to our old electric dryer and they match up pretty well. Moving wash to the dryer is actually easier than it was with the top load washer. The settings offer great control over your wash. Dress clothes might only require a cool speed wash, but if you worked in your yard all day, you'll want more, and this machine has it! It's big enough to do towels, bath rugs, blankets, even bed spreads. So far there is no down side.

I like that it operates very quietly. One very go convenience feature is the coin/ lint trap are located behind a small door on the front of the machine. A very well thought out machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago and I am very pleased with it. I found that it cleans the clothing much better. I love that it is almost silent. The various settings help getting the washing the way you want it, whether it is heavily soiled or very delicate lingerie. It does the work perfectly. I highly recommend it especially for short people who have problem getting the clothes out from a top loader.
