I decided I didn't really want the techy stuff as the electronics for that would be stone-cold dead in a year or less. Humid environments and electronics don't mix. I got the basic model and am happy I did. I want something that will last for thirty years like my last one did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG front load washer. The first one lasted over 11 years & did such a good job that I was determined to get the same one again. It is easy to operate & cleans all types of loads well. It handles large items very well too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my last LG washer with this one. Only negative: length of wash cycle. regular wash 70minutes! Definitely longer than my older one. Speed wash 15min. I think it was 25 before. Makes more sense.

I have to say also that the service that I was provided by the 2 young men that delivered and installed my washer was fantastic! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our washer about 2 months and we like it. At first it made a loud noise when the water input valves shut off. But I found it wass because our water faucets were open all the way open. At 1/2 open it was OK!

The large drum fits a large load and it is quiet even at high spin cycle. I might give this a five if I had it longer than two weeks so saw how well it held up.

It needs a standpipe so it has access to air around the washer drain hose in the sandpiper or drain into a laundry sink with a sump-pump to empty the sink if using in a cellar

The steps being a safety problem, we decided to relocate the laundry to the first floor. We shopped for several days before we found this LG washer and dryer with the features we wanted and a price within our budget. After reviewing and studying the directions of the nicest laundry equipment she has ever had, She loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago. It has taken me a few weeks to figure out the settings. Once you figure out what settings get you your desired results the dryer is great! Definitely adjust the desired settings to fine tune it to your needs.

This is the third pair of LG Washers and Dryers we have bought. They are great and work well. They also last something that you don't always find in some appliances today. We had an LG washer and dryer in the home we just sold. They were more than 15 years old and still going strong. So we of course bought an LG washer and dryer for our new home! We have a second home in Puerto Rico and installed a pair there as well and are looking forward to years of reliable service from them. We highly recommend LG products.
