Sometimes completes cycle but leaves suds and water behind washer. Manual problem page states to use 1/4 to 1/2 recommended detergent maker amount. This has helped resolve these issues. l

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WHY do I love my new LG Washing Machine? I have owned a few washing machine and this one, by far, is the best. It is easy to use, runs very quietly, and energy efficient...but one of the things I LOVE the most is that it spins out clothes almost dry. When putting clothes in the dryer from the washing machine, it takes half the time to dry. Yes....I DO LOVE IT.

There are many wash features to choose from - my only complaint is the descriptions and choice of features are hard to see... wish the writing was larger. But overall its a great product and I'm very happy we went with LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last top loader didn't make it 10 years, plus it was always problematic. We had been negative about front loaders in the past, but took a good hard look this time. We've had it 25 days now, and we're finding more things to like about it all the time. We have it sitting next to our old electric dryer and they match up pretty well. Moving wash to the dryer is actually easier than it was with the top load washer. The settings offer great control over your wash. Dress clothes might only require a cool speed wash, but if you worked in your yard all day, you'll want more, and this machine has it! It's big enough to do towels, bath rugs, blankets, even bed spreads. So far there is no down side.

Clothes DO NOT get clean and have a stale odor after washing and drying with my LG set. I have to 1)RINSE before washing, ADDING 1-2 gallons water 2) ADD AT LEAST 3 gallons of water to wash cycle 3) RINSE AGAIN after wash cycle is done. Very time consuming and NOT High Efficiency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a new front loader. Installed it and it had a dent in front on right side. Installer never told me till after it was installed. So this washer never worked correctly. It would stop and a code would go off. Had repair man come. Said it needed a new part. With all considered they said I could get a new replacement.Which I did Took over a week. Now my second new washer is working fine. Just so annoying to go through all this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy that I was finally forced to buy a new washer, when my old GE top loader leaked and wasn’t worth fixing anymore. Based on a Consumer Reports recommendation, I ordered this washer online expecting it in a few days or at most, weeks. Lo and behold I then got a message saying it would arrive in more than 3 months. I cancelled the order and found a local dealer (Tripodi Appliances in Port Chester NY) who had it available for a similarly reasonable price and I got it delivered and installed in less than a week. I’ve had the washer for 3 months and I’m extremely satisfied with it, especially after I discovered that you need to leave it open for a day to let it dry out so that it won’t stink. It’s much larger than my previous washer and there’s plenty of room for very large loads. I was surprised that it diagnoses the weight and size of the load to determine the wash time. Very impressive, if it’s not a gimmick. The wash comes out very clean and the spin cycle works extremely well. I’m saving a lot on drying time and cost.

Favorite feature: large capacity with advantage of equally great cleaning. Spin cycles are effective and greatly reduce drying time needs. Have not had long enough to fully review for all feature and cost savings; while seems inline with noted expectations—have not had long enough to fully realize this opportunity.
