Great washer, just had a problem with the drain in the seal for the door. It got clogged and began leaking. It was difficult to access the point where it was draining without removing the entire door seal. Other than that it has been a very reliable washing machine.

I bought this machine because of the description and good reviews. It has been a while since I needed a machine. I wanted one that had a large tub and it has that. The problem is 3 hours to wash a load. Who has that amount of time? Vibrates even after I purchased the vibration pads. Everything is a la cart now. Isn't that a shame? The machine literally arrived with tiny metal feet. Before I purchased the vibration pads it shook my house like an earthquake. Even with the pads, it still vibrates. Once the load is done, the entire door is damp. I have to wipe it down after every wash and leave the door open so it won't smell like mildew. Then, I do I quick wash which is 15 minutes for a small rug. Guess what? The sensor can't read a small wash and the 15 minutes turned into three hours with an error code. I didn't know all this was happening as I left my house. You can't manipulate the cycles. I like to use tap water. If you pick tap, it changes everything else. I don't know who designed this machine but they are in the wrong field of work. I complained within days only for the clerk to tell me ...and reads off a card. I emailed the CEO to no avail. I want to return it but no one will answer my emails. If I can't wash a small load, then this machine does not meet my needs.

It has a good selection of load settings which have handled all types of loads get effectively and efficiently cleaned. CON: If you are a senior person with difficulty bending to reach into the washing machine, it is sometimes hard to reach small articles of clothing that are at the back of the drum ( we use a grabber so no real issues).

The temp setting between warm and hot was only in the 80's. According to the lgcommunity.us.com this has been a long time (going back 8 yrs) issue with the LG machines. Numerous customers have complained about this. You can feel the hot water enter the machine through the intake hose and it is blazing. I was told there is an internal regular that only allows very little hot water to enter. Even on the tub clean cycle it was only 92 degrees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I had to replace my front-load washer, and chose LG because of positive reviews. I love it! It's very efficient, and much quieter than my previous machine. I like what I have read about LG appliances, and eventually, all my other appliances will be replaced with LG.

We decided to get another LG after the one we bought used died 4 yrs later. This is a good and reliable brand, good washer, nice capacity. We have dogs and cats, and we wash their bedding quite often. BUT, a month after using it, I noticed that the rubber part at the opening was already torn, leaving some rubber pieces in the drum and on the clothes. That is highly disappointing. I guess I would need to contact the customer service where we bought the LG.

I love the triple rinse feature. You can select 1, 2, 3 rinses. That’s huge for me. Love that. We would buy LG again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I became oriented to the new controls, I've found the washer is easy to use. After switching from a top loader, it seems that the new washer uses less soap because the wash cycle uses more movement and therefore generates more suds. I'm very glad I purchased this washing machine.
