[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cursed the day my 8-year-old LG top-loader wouldn't get any power to the motor. I'd had regular balance problems with that washer unless I had a very big load inside. So, I was somewhat reluctant to go with another LG washer. But reading reviews and comments, I decided on this basic front-loader. I'd never had a front load washer. Boy, am I glad I bought this one. So far, it's one of the best appliances that I have EVER purchased (and I'm 74!). First, it gets my wash far cleaner, far whiter than with any washer I've ever used. Second, it uses less detergent and less water. Ir runs a bit longer than a top loader, but it is very, very quiet. And, when I leave the door open to let the washer dry out, my garage is filled with an incredibly pleasant clean laundry fragrance. This is a wonderful washer. It is the low-end washer but it is high performance!

We bought this, because it was 1 of the highest rated front load washing machines by Consumers Reports. Unfortunately, we keep getting de2 error code near the end of the wash. We have to power off, unplug, wait, plug in and select Speed Wash to finish. The error code always comes on near the end of the wash, not in the beginning. There is a defective sensor that requires replacement by LG.

It’s great for cleaning everything from large bedding loads to delicate small loads. And I love the timer option!

Everything always comes out nice and clean, plenty of setting to choose from, the ability to check if there are any issues with my phone is great and the biggest bonus for me is that it’s pretty quiet. My washer isn’t far from my living room and I tend to wash clothes at night while I’m settling in to watch tv or read and it never bothers me.

It fits neatly into a relatively small space, is super quiet when operating, cleans clothes beautifully, and plays music when done. Hopefully it will be durable. I am able to wash bigger loads, and bedding that I previously had to take to my parents to wash. My old washer was 10+ years old so upgrading to this unit has been great!! I even noticed that my clothes are getting cleaner than with my old washer so that is definitely a plus.

I can tailor settings for each load to get the most perfect washing per type of clothing. It is an Energy Saver plus it spins so well that it saves time and money by taking less time in the dryer. Very efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is fairly quiet. It is interesting to watch it work. The direct drive motor allows infinitely variable speeds. If it detects an out of balance condition, it will reverse and try again. I had to research to learn what the "Bedding" cycle meant; not sheets, but comforters and such.
