[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last washer was also a LG and I really liked it and this is why I purchased this newer washer. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles my last one did, and takes a lot longer to run a cycle, but maybe that is the way they are nowadays.

I use a wheelchair and owned a top loading washer until last Spring. With increasing pain due to arthritis, shoulder and hand problems and decreasing function, it became more and more difficult for me to use a top loading washing machine. I don't have a lot of expendable cash. A friend had seen me struggle to get the laundry into, and even more so OUT OF, my top-loader, and bought me the LG front loading washer. I had no idea how much easier the LG would make doing my laundry!! It is easy to operate, runs smoothly and quietly, and cleans my clothes wonderfully while saving water. There are many features to choose from for various laundry needs. I am very happy with it! I'm looking forward to getting the matching dryer when I can afford it. Thank you!!

PRO's: First, beautiful machine, installation easy, very quiet, Love that, the options of washing times, water temp settings, spin only these are a BIG PLUS. . etc. Load capacity is good. So far my only CON is: this large center dial button, is it obvious yes, but it sticks out, in my opinion too far. I think that it could be damaged or broken easily due to that.

It has taken several calls for service of my new washer and the problem may not be resolved to my satisfaction. I used high efficiency Tide soap pods and the machine overflowed many times. I new use a HE liquid in smaller amounts and the overflow is not happening.

Overall, I am very happy with this washer. It took a while to get used to the electronics but now it is very easy to use. My only issue is that the pump filter should have an arrow indicating the position it should be in after you re-insert if. Inserted it incorrectly and what a mess that was! Lesson learned. Otherwise, the machine cleans the clothes well with some of the eco detergent sheets. This is the second LG washer I have owned so very satisfied.

I am so happy I purchased a LG Washer. The last LG washer I purchased 17 years ago, and it worked efficiently and perfectly for the entire 17 years. Just recently, I saw there was work to be done, so I replaced the with a brand-new LG front loader.

We bought this bc Wirecutter recommended the more premium version, and we didn't need as many bells and whistles. Works well so far and is pretty quiet! (Especially compared to our old washer with broken spider) The only annoying thing is I haven't figured out a way to default to a specific custom setting, and you can't tell how long it will take for the cycle until you've actually started the cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG’s reputation for quality and dependability, along with a great price were the main reasons I chose to purchase this model to replace my older LG machine. After a month and a half I’ve been very pleased with the performance and I expect it to be as reliable as my previous model.
