I bought this a tear and a half ago. After a year, it started leaking. This is my first front load machine so doing the monthly clean cycle was not something I ever had to do. But in the manual, it does say to run the clean cycle once a month. What it does is remove residue product from the tub and pull out detergent softener bleach tray..LG tech is still working on it. First visit they cleaned the drum and subsequently I have run the monthly clean cycle but it it is still leaking from the detergent I’ll out tray. They ordered a new tray on the second visit and we’ll see if that fixes it. So read the manual, run that clean cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I PURCHASED THIS WASHER, AND MATCHING DRYER -- A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, AND IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET UP TO SPEED ON IT, BASED ON THE NEW TECHNOLOGY THAT IS OUT TODAY. MY OLD WASHER / DRYER PAIR -- WAS (16) YEARS OLD. I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE NEW WASHER, AS IT DOES THE JOB ON WASHING ALL OF MY CLOTHES, TOWELS, BEDDING, ETC. THE LITTLE JINGLE, AFTER THE CLOTHES ARE WASHED, FINALLY CAME ON -- AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OF USE. NOT SURE WHY IT TOOK SO LONG, BUT IT NOW WORKS WELL. I WOULD HIGHLY -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WASHER TO ANYONE THAT WOULD HAVE AN INTEREST IN PURCHASING THIS MODEL.

Capacity is my favorite feature. Paired with the highly efficient spin cycle on the “paired” washer I find drying time is greatly reduced from my prior dryer. I wish this dryer had a “touch up” cycle for ease but can live without it. Overall, have yet to realize professed cost savings (only had for 2 weeks) but expect this dryer will live up to professed savings.

Purchased this when our old washer broke. The best idea we have ever had! I adopt special needs animals, and I have to wash a lot of bedding with animal fur and this washer really does such a great job at making things clean, smell fresh and have no fur any longer. Filters are so easy to clean. All of the settings are super customizable for any items of clothing.

Bought in October 2022 to replace 20-year old LG washer with bearings finally wearing out. This model was a step down in looks cosmetics (door did not have the stainless ring) but had a slightly larger capacity. It had all the same features we use when laundering and, best of all, it fit onto our 20-year old LG pedestals! Thanks, LG for engineering for re-use. That saved me $300 on a new pedestal. If I buy the new matching dryer, I'll save another $300 on a pedestal. However, after 20 years, the old dryer is still working wonderfully...hope you keep this new dryer model available for a while.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace my original LG washer that we bought 15 years ago. I'm glad we stuck with LG. This washer is much more quiet than the first one and it seems to get the clothes much more dry before going into the dryer. This was an excellent choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the worse luck with washing machines. I had high hopes for this one. I’m pretty pleased overall. It’s fast, efficient, and easy to use. The things I don’t like are that it’s already had to be worked on and I’ve only had it 13 months. The rubber around the door got loose and it starting leaky water. That was frustrating. Keeping that seal dry and not smelling of mildew is a challenge. But I prefer the front loader to the top loader without the agitator. I feel like my clothes get clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and I am so glad that I did. It is awesome! So easy to use. It is super quiet; dries quickly: and is energy efficient. I also purchased the accompanying washer. This laundering set saved my sanity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this LG washing machine, so far very happy . The only issue I have is with the cycle settings, not all of them show the amount of time for the cycle until after you hit the start button. Just think it’s a little strange that some show but not all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re very happy with the performance and value of this machine. However, the installation instructions need to be corrected. They clearly state that the drain must be no more than 8 feet above the floor. Ours is 6 feet, so we expected it to handle the drain without problems. It did not. Water is left in the tub at the end of the cycle. A repair tech explained that the machine cannot handle a drain more than 4 feet above the floor. Why don’t the installation instructions make this clear?
