[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last spring only to have it delivered and installed in the fall. Initial impression is wonderful, the washer is extremely quiet compared to our former 20 yr old model. The trick on this machine is to NOT OVERLOAD it (if you do, it really shakes) and to level it perfectly since it spins so fast 1300 RPM. I had to level it twice after it shook on the first use. Time will tell if it deserves a 5 star, but so far so good.

I have had this washer for about 6 weeks and I am very pleased. Everything comes out cleaner than my last washer (that I hated). Clothes, even jeans and towels take less time to dry and my sleeves and pantlegs no longer are tied in knots when the cycle is completed. My only criticism is that the cycles take longer than I expected. It would be nice to have a load finished in less than an hour, but that is not the case for a normal wash with an extra rinse.

I use a wheelchair. With some recent hand and arm strength loss, it was difficult for me to get my wet clothes out of the washer. My friend surprised me with the LG washer. She has one and likes it. It has changed my life! It's easy to get clothes out of the washer so I don't need help with my laundry anymore and I can be more independent. I love that it has many different cycles for different items' needs. It is pretty quiet. The buttons are easy to access and press, which again helps my hands. Even with all of the wash cycle choices, it is easy to understand and use. Recently I sent a text to my friend who purchased it for me and said "I love doing laundry!!" I've had some medical setbacks recently but hope to be able to purchase a matching dryer soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for about a month and the size of washer is awesome. I wash all the bedding every week because out dog sleeps with us. The king size comforter fits perfectly and the machine is super quiet. No need to close the laundry room door. Load comes out perfectly clean and very well spun, less drying time!!!

My clothes look cleaner. It is quiet. The spin cycle dries the clothes so well it makes for a shorter drying time. A wonderful machine.

I am embarrassed to include this in a review, but the sounds it makes to alert you to its starting and ending are adorable!!

I bought this machine a few months ago but had serious plumbing issues that were not related to the machine. As a result I could not use my new washer for about 1 1/2 months. I am now happily using it at least once a week. It is quiet, has lots of settings to care for all my different types of washables, and cleans very well. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did research on this dryer and it had many positive reviews. That’s why we bought it and so it is doing a great job of drying clothes with moisture detection. You can even use an app to monitor your laundry.

The unit has started smelling of slight smoke when operating. First my spouse noticed and then I did. There is no interference with the rotation of the drum in either direction. On this item, we're taking a wait and see approach, which seems reasonable. The unit has 5 different wash temperature selections. Despite this, it's incapable of using the 100% hot feed water. I've checked the feed flow for hot (and cold). There's plenty of both. The hot feed is plenty hot, but the machine dilutes it with some cold. When I want hot sanitary wash for white clothes, by golly I want it to use 100% hot feed water. I don't want this lukewarm wishy-washy crap. The machine seems to be designed wrong, since it can't run hot, not even using the hottest selection on the machine's panel. It's a lousy design that needs immediate correction. Or it's not made to proper specifications. Either way it's marginal. LG needs to start long term work on this.
