[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old LG washer PCU board was going bad after 14 years of use which made me unplug and plug back in to get it working. I bought this similar LG washer as a replacement. It works just as good and the controls are very similar. The only issue with the new one is it is noisy (tub bangs against the stops) before it is stabilized during the spin cycle. The manual says this is normal. However the old LG I had didn't do this.

It takes 70 minutes to do a normal wash load. I've owned several front loaders and have never had one take this long. I wish they would post wash cycle times in the description. It also doesn't have an extra high spin cycle so my clothes take longer to dry also. Dripped some liquid detergent down the side a day after I received it add didn't notice for a few days. The enamel is permanently stained. I've never had that happen with an appliance before either. I wouldn't but this model again.

One added benefit is that I only need to use about a tablespoon of detergent per load. I used too much the first time, and I needed to do two extra rinses to get rid of the suds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG front load washer. The first one lasted over 11 years & did such a good job that I was determined to get the same one again. It is easy to operate & cleans all types of loads well. It handles large items very well too.

The settings are great - bedding, heavy, normal and so on. It has everything you could want - well short of someone else doing the laundry for you from load to fold and put away - haha. It definitely cleans my clothes well- can tell the difference between y old one and current . My last washer was an LG as well it was her when I bought the house but it looks to have been about 11-12 years old. I hope this one last too!! Maybe even longer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We desperately needed a new washing machine but I didn’t want to shop around a variety of brands. We knew LG were highly rated products and since we love our LG television so much we decided to go for the best brand out there. The machine is quiet and efficient so what more could one want? I’m sure it will last through many years of washes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer as part of a stackable washer/dryer set to fit in a small space 6 weeks ago and it’s the best one I’ve ever owned. It washes my clothes quickly, it’s quiet and I can fit very large loads in it. I love all of the settings and function. I feel like it’s more efficient than my old side by side sets. I would highly recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a few weeks ago. It is quiet and simple to use. The spin cycle does a nice job drying the clothes. This was an upgrade from a top loader which was easier to load. Things I don't like are that the door cannot be switched (this is a problem for my plumbing) and it already is beginning to smell. The seal gets filled with dog hair.
