[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for a few weeks now and so far it is working perfectly. Like all LG products it seems to be well made. I have found the control panel a little confusing and wish there were more options as to wash/rinse water temps. You can only set the wash temp, at least that is what it seems to me. I have found that even though it has a large tub you can't fill it too full or the clothes won't come clean. If you have soft water that may not be a problem, but we do not. All in all it is a good washer, especially for the price. I will say, though, that because it uses so little water it has a very long wash cycle, 50plus to 80plus minutes, especially if the load is heavy because it chooses the water level by weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] O purchased my washer in 2020 Overall I love my washing machine. It cleans the clothes excellent!!! It's very quiet except for when it spins all the wash out of the items... man is it loud!!! it had a rubber-burning smell for the 1st 6mos I had it and it's gone! It's easy to clean and there's no stinky smell. I make sure I wipe down the rubber seal and keep the door cracked. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this LG after having 2 Maytag lemons. For the first time in 2 yrs I feel like our clothes are clean and smell clean. I can do bulky bedding and not have my machine go out of balance. The time it says a load will take is pretty accurate I gave 4 stars just because I wish the new model machines weren’t quite so water conservative If this lasts more than a year without me having to call for maintenance then that will be a bonus. So far, I am not disappointed

The unit has started smelling of slight smoke when operating. First my spouse noticed and then I did. There is no interference with the rotation of the drum in either direction. On this item, we're taking a wait and see approach, which seems reasonable. The unit has 5 different wash temperature selections. Despite this, it's incapable of using the 100% hot feed water. I've checked the feed flow for hot (and cold). There's plenty of both. The hot feed is plenty hot, but the machine dilutes it with some cold. When I want hot sanitary wash for white clothes, by golly I want it to use 100% hot feed water. I don't want this lukewarm wishy-washy crap. The machine seems to be designed wrong, since it can't run hot, not even using the hottest selection on the machine's panel. It's a lousy design that needs immediate correction. Or it's not made to proper specifications. Either way it's marginal. LG needs to start long term work on this.

I bought this washer a month ago and I am disappointed. It’s loud and I can only do small loads for towels at a time or it blows a fuse and shuts off mid cycle and I have to start it over which takes another hour to wash the towels. When it spins it shakes the floor and the salesman never told me I have to drain it every time I do a load or risk it flooding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd LG dryer (1st was Electric) and the controls are easy to use, laid out well and very intuitive. As with my previous unit, my new one isn't the best with the "Sensor Dry" feature. All too often, it stops, while the clothes are still wet. In most instances I by pass that and set a timed dry @ whatever temp I feel best fits the items being dried. Even with that not being so great, I would recommend this drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is great. I know it was supposed to save water, but I actually saw a reduction in my water bill. It also spins so fast that the clothes are almost dry when removed so drying time is improved. Manual is not adequate though and attempting to alter a cycle seems to take a degree in computer science. The standard cycles are fine for most things but it is not intuitive to add an extra rinse or prewash. Manual should have more information on that. All in all though, even on the preset settings, it does a great job. Takes twice as long as my old one to wash, but the savings in water and probably drying time was worth the upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re very happy with the performance and value of this machine. However, the installation instructions need to be corrected. They clearly state that the drain must be no more than 8 feet above the floor. Ours is 6 feet, so we expected it to handle the drain without problems. It did not. Water is left in the tub at the end of the cycle. A repair tech explained that the machine cannot handle a drain more than 4 feet above the floor. Why don’t the installation instructions make this clear?

However, I did try washing a coat by itself and it wouldn't do the final spin right (kept getting an uneven load error) so it was soaking wet when I moved it to the dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous washer and dryer set were Samsung. We had a few problems - our mechanic recommended LG and we are so glad he did. Love our new set. Took a bit of ingenuity to make our Samsung pedestals work - but, we did it.
