We bought this washer about a month ago, and could not be any happier. WE bought this dryer about a month ago and we could not be any happier with the purchase. It runs so quite you don't even know its on. This is the best dryer we ever bought, and we had 2 others that could not compare to. We also bought an LG washer and same thing don't even realize it is on until the alarm goes off letting you know it is finished. I would recommend LG products to anyone looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is great. I know it was supposed to save water, but I actually saw a reduction in my water bill. It also spins so fast that the clothes are almost dry when removed so drying time is improved. Manual is not adequate though and attempting to alter a cycle seems to take a degree in computer science. The standard cycles are fine for most things but it is not intuitive to add an extra rinse or prewash. Manual should have more information on that. All in all though, even on the preset settings, it does a great job. Takes twice as long as my old one to wash, but the savings in water and probably drying time was worth the upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product. It performs really well so far. Retailer slightly spoilt our experience, declined to install because we had PVC hose bibs. However, I installed it myself with help of a friend. I hope we did it well but LG directions were easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have the set now for 3 month..they are great for cleaning wile using very little detergent but they are very picky about were the setting stand.. the dryer it is the worst you have to figure out watt setting it prefer and some time it become very frustrating. i truly miss my older LG. This new one are great you just have to figure them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Learning how my new washer works. I had some problems and had to call in for help in how to work with my washer. The young lady who helped me was so helpful and patient. My one concern now is when I wash my bathroom rub which is oversized I have to run it over a few times to spin all the water out of it. I do enjoy the way the machine can determine weight of the load and adjust accordingly. The machine is very quiet and cleans very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with our LG washer. Due to direct drive it runs quieter with less vibration than our former washing machine. I really appreciate the little door on the front that gives you easy access to the rise filter. No more removing the front of the machine or calling a repair person. In addition, the price is very reasonable. Little things like this make this machine my best choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer (and dryer) a few months ago and overall I'm somewhat happy. The washer is very quiet and nothing leaks. But the only issue is the washing cycles are alot longer than normal cycles (for example the normal cycle is 55 minutes, which is alot longer than a normal 30 or 45 minute washing cycle). But it operates quite well and it is energy efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third front load washer and dryer combination. I selected LG for its reliability and This is my third purchase of front load washer and dryer combinations. I selected the LG because of the quality I have discovered in other LG products. I have used the new washer and dryer combination for several weeks and find the functions intuitive and the quality of the wash excellent. I am absolutely delighted with my decision to go with the LG pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought my last washer in 1996, I tried to buy a front loader. No luck since these were not available for home use. With my new LG front loader I now see what I’ve been missing. The machine is quiet, uses little detergent and hardly any water and the laundry comes out clean with most of the water spun out. Now I’d like to update my 30 yr old dryer to the matching LG unit.

I purchased this last month and am not happy. Yes, it cleaned my clothes BUT the manual does not tell you how long the cycles are as they are determined by weight. "Normal" cycle was 70 minutes for three pairs of shorts, 3 T-shirts, 2 bras and one towel. Amore than that and it takes longer. Look for one where you can turn OFF the high efficiency. The Manual, that I read in the store before I purchased it, said it had the function. But the Manual is written for at least 6 machines and that function is on my model. Yes, it has a 15 minute speed wash that can be turned up to 40 minutes. But I don't want to use fast action on Delicates. Delicates are 60 minutes. Unfortunately, all new Brands have these problems. I suggest a non-HE if you can find one.
