At 1 year and 3 months the dryer rumbled badly. Actually it started earlier but would then sound normal. The first repair visit said there was nothing wrong. The second visit the rollers were replaced. I did notice that the back of at least one of the rollers was completely packed with lint. Now lint collects on the back of the lint screen as well as the front. Please have your repair person back to correct this.

This is our first LG washer, and we bought it based on user reviews, specs and pricing. We were pleased that the salesperson agreed that this washer performs great, has all the needed settings and is available at a reasonable price. We are totally satisfied with our LG washing machine.

The various settings help getting the washing the way you want it, whether it is heavily soiled or very delicate lingerie. It does the work perfectly. I highly recommend it especially for short people who have problem getting the clothes out from a top loader.

We have purchased a number of different washer-dryer sets over the years which have included a Stacked set in 2002, another side-by-side set, a similar Set which we quickly returned, and finally purchased this LG pair. This is the first front-load washer that we are satisfied with. They look great. The front-load LG washer was recommended to me by a friend who was the maintenance supervisor of mechanical operations for a large, local, commercial hospital laundry supply company…He had purchased an LG front-load washer several years ago for his family, and when I asked him, which one seemed the best to him, he stated LG…the rest is history. We’re still trying to get use to the difference in front-loader vs top-loader and the different environmental impacts, such as cleaning the front filter on the bottom of the washer (haven’t done it yet as it’s only me and mama) but we only do a few loads a week, and being retired, we don’t actually get our clothes as soiled as working folks. Overall, we’re satisfied with our decision to purchase our LG set.

It fits neatly into a relatively small space, is super quiet when operating, cleans clothes beautifully, and plays music when done. Hopefully it will be durable. If you do not hear the sound with the load, finishes, you might forget that you have a load just sitting in the washer.

The larger drum is handy for large blankets, and the faster rpm spin makes for less drying time. So far very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG washers were recommended by Consumer Reports, so I bought a LG stacking washer/dryer set last month. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I like them. The washer adjusts its cycle to the load washed. The melodic signal is long and loud enough for me to hear without my hearing aids. I especially appreciate the front lint clean out on the washer. My previous set had to be unstacked in order to clean out the washer filter clothes come out clean and smelling fresh.

It took almost 3 weens to get a warranty guy out to fix it. It worked for 2 days, and it is, once again, dumping water all over the floor.
