The washer does an excellent job of cleaning the clothes. Only issue is that the drum makes a high-pitched and loud squeak whenever the drum moves, which is often during a normal cycle. I have had a repair service look at it and of course the washer didn’t squeak when they were at the house so I recorded the sounds on the next load and plan to call repair again.

We researched a while before purchasing. Wanted a front load that was basic but built like a tank. Found great reviews for this set and it has not disappointed. Clothes come out great and the run time is very efficient. My first LG set and would definitely consider purchase of other LG products in the future.

The one area of frustration is the extent to which it needs to be cleaned inside to keep it smelling fresh. Once a month for the cleaning powder and once a week to drain the small hose. New to me to have to do those.

This washer is quiet, maintains balance even when washing towels, is large enough to wash quilts and pillows, and has a wide range of settings to get exactly what you need fir each load. My only concern is that the gasket that seals the machine stays wet so I am careful to dry it after use. One review I read before purchasing said their gasket mildewed after just a month and I can definitely see how this would happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my new Washer On Jan. 14th. My children bought me for Christmas. My husband made this suggestion. As I was having trouble getting clothes out of my present machine, which was getting older just like me, it was big one very deep for this old lady. But she had been a good one. He even bought me a grabber but have you ever tried to pick up a wet towel with a grabber. It wasn’t pretty. Got a front loader with pedestals and I love it. I don’t fall in any more when getting my clothes out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only three weeks of laundry the weight sensor is not working properly. No matter what size load I put in the washer the time came up to 70 minutes. The washer did not run for that whole time, but this should not be happening.

We bought the LG washer and dryer front loader about 1t months ago. My only issue was the lack of a "soak" setting until there was a crack in the washer tub. It'll be several hundred dollars, almost as much as the cost of a new washer, and no coverage after 1 year.

It has different labels on the types of wash loads than my old machine and I am still figuring out the best settings. Happy that is is quiet when running, spins out all the water possible, and has a lovely chime when done. My cat loves her LG washer and dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG washer works well. My only complaint is how long some of the loads take. My previous LG was around 55 min. per load. This one has gone sometimes to 70 min. so I use a perma press cycle that takes less time than a regular cycle might take. But all in all I like the washer and have no other complaints so far. I had to search online for a manual to explain how to use the control panel since it didn't come with any info on the control panel.

After reading several reviews on different brands we decided to go with the LG. We are totally happy with the quality and features with this machine. Every load comes out clean and ready for the dryer. Great product.
