We were excited to replace our 20 year old dryer with this highly rated one. We have been less than thrilled with the amount of plastic components and parts, including the lint filter. We feel like it could fall apart just by opening and closing the door. I don't believe we will get 20 years out of this unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had them for a little less than a month but it's been great! We got both the matching washer and dryer and have them stacked. We did the installation ourselves and lifting the dryer was absolutely possible with just me and my husband and I'm on the smaller side. We just had to purchase an electrical cord for the dryer, a new duct, and new hoses for the washer! Leveling it was kind of a pain but manageable. I get clean and dry laundry every time and it's really fast too! (relatively, compared to my old set which were very, very old) Also note that the washer uses "high efficiency" detergent. We've actually just been using our old, normal detergent up but it does say to use high efficiency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a couple of months ago and it seems to do a great ob washing the clothes. It's very quiet compared to our other old front load washer. So far mold and mildew has not been a problem either as our old washer had serious problems. I own several LG products and so far I've been very happy with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last top loader didn't make it 10 years, plus it was always problematic. We had been negative about front loaders in the past, but took a good hard look this time. We've had it 25 days now, and we're finding more things to like about it all the time. We have it sitting next to our old electric dryer and they match up pretty well. Moving wash to the dryer is actually easier than it was with the top load washer. The settings offer great control over your wash. Dress clothes might only require a cool speed wash, but if you worked in your yard all day, you'll want more, and this machine has it! It's big enough to do towels, bath rugs, blankets, even bed spreads. So far there is no down side.

Great, fairly basic washer. So far, so good. I did need to contact LG customer service to help with a feature and they were terrific. Happy with my purchase. I still need to connect the App to change some of the factory pre-sets ( e.g. 70 minute wash time) but I’ll get to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last spring only to have it delivered and installed in the fall. Initial impression is wonderful, the washer is extremely quiet compared to our former 20 yr old model. The trick on this machine is to NOT OVERLOAD it (if you do, it really shakes) and to level it perfectly since it spins so fast 1300 RPM. I had to level it twice after it shook on the first use. Time will tell if it deserves a 5 star, but so far so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for about six months now. So far, it is performing up to my high expectations. A bit more complicated than washers I have used in the past, but with a little practice I have dialed in my preferences. I love the front loading feature and the fact that it can hold quite a bit of material. I have laundered pillows, blankets and a down comforter as well as small rugs without any problems. No more trips to the laundromat! At times, it can become unbalanced with the rugs, so you have to pay attention. It will turn off and give you an error code. Just rearrange and continue. Very efficient with use of laundry detergent. Follow the directions, if you are not sure, just add an extra rinse cycle. Very quiet. Uses very little water, but wash his clothes beautifully. Some reviews reported that the clothes did not get wet enough/cleaned. I have never had this problem, though I do not overload. The wash cycles are generally quite long, 75 to 85 minutes, but the results are great. I love that it spins the clothes so well, which minimizes drying time. A huge plus for me is that it is energy efficient. Definitely download the online instructions as they are much more detailed than the booklet you receive with the appliance. Overall, a great product, though I will be interested to see how many years it does last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this on Christmas Eve, as our old dryer died the night before. Was delivered in perfect condition. Has Great features-more than our last one. It is easy to use, and is much quieter than our last dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my new LG dryer. I'm amazed at the large capacity that fits in my narrow utility room. It replaced a dryer with the same footprint, but is taller and has a much larger capacity than my old one. I've used it for about 3 weeks now, and I'm very satisfied with the drying of towels, bedding, and regular wash items. The extra height isn't a problem as I keep a step stool in the utility room to reach the box of dryer sheets I keep on top. It's really great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a LG Tron Dryer that we purchased many years ago. Ended up buying the matching washer, too. So far , so good. As the title implies the dryer is fairly quiet, a must in a home with sleeping grandchildren.
