[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG washer and dryer 3 months ago, and I am very pleased with how quiet both are and how well they clean and dry my laundry. I needed to contact act support and received nearly immediate LG response.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is so water "economical" that your laundry barely gets wet at all unless you the choose "Towel" setting. The bedding setting gives plenty of water but will not spin on the high setting. It is EXTREMELY sensitive to the amount of soap you can use. I've only had success with 2 tablespoons; any more than that and the machine takes 3 hours or more to complete it's task! Lastly, it can only handle up to halfway full of laundry. So much for it's advertised large capacity! If loaded beyond the halfway point, it will not spin as it is ultra sensitive to the possibility of going out of balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer replaced a very old top loader so it’s an automatic improvement. Whites are significantly cleaner, so we’re happy w/that. However, we’re less than thrilled at how well it manages mixed light/heavy or all heavy (towels, jeans) loads. In a previous home we had a 20 yr old front loader that could handle any size load w/o off balancing, but this LG not only cannot handle heavier loads, the manual specifically instructs users to split larger loads. What is the point of a giant capacity, volume-wise, if it cannot handle the weight? We purchased based on ratings, including Consumer Reports, & had higher expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We originally bought this model for a second home and purchased it again when our 20-year-old set finally gave up the ghost. It fits neatly into a relatively small space, is super quiet when operating, cleans clothes beautifully, and plays music when done. Hopefully it will be durable. We bought it about a month ago, no problems yet. We are happy w the purchase

I usually get low end washing machines. This was my first front load washer. I love that this washer spins so much more effectively so drying time is cut down. Glad I got the larger size do my king quilts can get properly washed. Like that I don’t need as much detergent. Like the selections for spin levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought last month to replace the washer I had. Was very impress when I open door to put clothes in the very large capacity of the drum and the cleaning feature after reading about it and why you should do it did once already and will do it monthly excellent washer very quiet running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's always hard to buy a major appliance, looking for efficiency, super-power, and of course a great price. There are always bad reviews so how do you decide? I was nervous to say the least but now that I have used it I have to say, my last washer was mediocre at best and I thought it was great before. This washer cleans clothes, at a great time, is super-silent and reminds very much of my mother's washer in Germany. And they have the BEST appliances. So yes, so far so good. I'm glad I have it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item in October and literally in a months time I had to call did it to be serviced. It wasn’t until last week I actually was successful at getting it serviced. For the amount spent on this set, I didn’t expect to have any issues with my product. The service guy was great knowledgeable and gave insight. He replaced the karts that were needed and even gave knowledge on products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old washer quit, so had to replace it after 12 years. I'm hoping this one will last that long! Small loads to big loads, everything comes out clean as expected. It takes very little laundry soap to complete the needed job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a new place and the washer was included. The washer is pretty basic and easy to use but I noticed that you can't load too much clothes into it or it won't thoroughly wash your clothes. It might be because front loaders use much less water. There is a speed wash mode which uses even less water so I only use this mode for really small loads. The normal wash sometimes takes up to 90 minutes for one load on heavy soil. All of the different modes take a least an hour to wash.
