I love this washer it quitter then my last LG washer witch I had for almost 20 years we bought this one because the last one lasted 20 years and the washer tub bearing where wore out and I did not want to pull it all apart because it lasted that long I bought a new one instead.

I bought the LG front load washer 5 months ago. Although it washes colors well, it does not achieve the listed "HOT" wash cycle though it's fed with plenty of really hot water. Apparently it's designed for energy saving by disabling any true HOT capability. Therefore, LG should not offer the choice of "HOT" selection, since it's deceitful and dishonest. The machine can only manage a lukewarm wash at best. I feel misled and duped by LG. If LG is desperate to use the "HOT" label, it should list the actual temperature of the wash, e.g. 105 F maximum. That way customers will know they'll never get the hot wash they truly want for their white clothes. Suggestion: LG could offer a "sanitary cycle" which would be truly hot.

It replaced a more compact-sized one that died recently and I'm much happier with this than I ever was with the other one. This one is bigger, obviously, but works much more intuitively. It's quieter. It cleans great. The controls are easy to figure out and use.

It wasn’t until last week I actually was successful at getting it serviced. For the amount spent on this set, I didn’t expect to have any issues with my product. The service guy was great knowledgeable and gave insight. He replaced the karts that were needed and even gave knowledge on products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i am not as happy with the dryer as with my new washer, there are a lot of cycle settings, but it seems that most could use to be longer for a full dry , also i have had a problem with my sheets...i think there may be a burr or rough spot causing my sheets to have lots of pull marks...i do like how quiet the machine is!
