[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into my house in 2021 and found that the washer/dryer weren't really working. I was doing laundry outside of my house for months before finally deciding on this washer. I've had it for about 3 weeks and have used it 3 times. So far so good. I was concerned at first when the time would pop up on the screen and say 70-90 minutes for a wash cycle, but fortunately when it gets going it hasn't taken that long. It's quiet and I'm hopeful this lasts for quite a while because it was a pain to have to remove old ones/install new ones in my narrow rowhome.

My previous machine was a Kenmore 4.5g front load that lasted 22 years. If I last another 22 years, i suspect this LG will outlast me. My pre-buy research suggested that if anything can, it'll be this machine. I love this machine's quietness, smartness for different clothes types and it's crazy efficiency. But its effectiveness is not quite what i expected. Im a 70 year old boy. I get dirty with my projects. It seems that if the paddles were taller like my old Kenmore, they'd be able to beat the clothes more effectively. I use Tide, Dawn and bleach with whites but this machine still requires re-washes to get them as tidy. Maybe a little more experimentation with the [Heavy Duty] setting will make the difference. Otherwise, its just right. Fits in my master suite, attractive, crazy efficient and scary quiet. Thanks LG. For a dirty old man, I'm happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with our LG washer. Due to direct drive it runs quieter with less vibration than our former washing machine. I really appreciate the little door on the front that gives you easy access to the rise filter. No more removing the front of the machine or calling a repair person. In addition, the price is very reasonable. Little things like this make this machine my best choice.

Consumers rated this one high and economical, which is good because I didn’t want to spend a fortune. Have had it about a month now and it does a great job. Not a lot of bells and whistles which is just fine with me and is easy to use. Wash cycles take a bit longer but it uses considerably less laundry detergent to do the job. Much quieter than my last washer, so overall quite pleased.

Must wipe down seal, some maintenance with this washer that you do not have on top loaders, but worth it!

It is very quiet, uses far less water than my previous machine and has a lot of features that lets you customize what you want to do with your particular load of clothes. Highly recommend it!

This was an upgrade from a top loader which was easier to load. Things I don't like are that the door cannot be switched (this is a problem for my plumbing) and it already is beginning to smell. The seal gets filled with dog hair.
