We bought this bc Wirecutter recommended the more premium version, and we didn't need as many bells and whistles. Works well so far and is pretty quiet! (Especially compared to our old washer with broken spider) The only annoying thing is I haven't figured out a way to default to a specific custom setting, and you can't tell how long it will take for the cycle until you've actually started the cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last washer and dryer never worked well, and died after 8 years. I rely on Consumer Reports, who gave the LG it’s top rating. The LG washer and dryer are quiet, get my clothes clean, and dry quickly. I trust they will last more than 10 years! So far, I never have to think about them - just put dirty clothes in and then get clean clothes out. Definitely worth it!

The one area of frustration is the extent to which it needs to be cleaned inside to keep it smelling fresh. Once a month for the cleaning powder and once a week to drain the small hose. New to me to have to do those.

One minor thing to get used to is that it doesn’t have a light in the drum. Not a big deal. I have had the most luck with LG appliances. They seem to out last others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and laundry comes out clean, saves water. The pre-set cycles work the best for washing versus trying to modify the cycles. Runs nice and quiet and soft chime when done. This model has a drain pump filter in the lower front part of machine that needs to be cleaned as part of maintenance which I never had before. Happy so far with the purchase.

It's very efficient, and much quieter than my previous machine. I like what I have read about LG appliances, and eventually, all my other appliances will be replaced with LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a lot of research and this way the most highly rated dryer that would pair in our space with the matching LG Washer. White was right and the door size and swing was ideal. The installation was quick and the installers did a great job. It runs and dries perfectly and we couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

It takes 70 minutes to do a normal wash load. I've owned several front loaders and have never had one take this long. I wish they would post wash cycle times in the description. It also doesn't have an extra high spin cycle so my clothes take longer to dry also. Dripped some liquid detergent down the side a day after I received it add didn't notice for a few days. The enamel is permanently stained. I've never had that happen with an appliance before either. I wouldn't but this model again.

I replaced my 16 year old LG dryer a month ago. I love the LG brand and my new dryer hasn't let me down. It has the same wonderful features and high quality as my old LG. Efficient, quite, large capacity, settings for every need and has a beautiful appearance. I couldn't be happier!
