[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The basic functions of the machine are great. I was looking for a machine with an old style mechanical control setup. I guess that is no longer available. I still can't get some of the functions to work properly. MY biggest complaint would have to be, the end of wash alarm is not very loud. I read the instructions to indicate that it can be changed, I can't get it to change. I live front loading machines. No reaching down over the side of the machine to retrieve you wash load, it's right there where you can grab it. I also have the impression from years of washing very dirty clothing as I was an auto/truck mechanic that got really dirty, the front loading washer does a superior job of cleaning my wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last washer and dryer never worked well, and died after 8 years. I rely on Consumer Reports, who gave the LG it’s top rating. The LG washer and dryer are quiet, get my clothes clean, and dry quickly. I trust they will last more than 10 years! So far, I never have to think about them - just put dirty clothes in and then get clean clothes out. Definitely worth it!

We bought our LG washing machine a few weeks ago, and are very pleased with it. Along with its partner dryer, the combination fits perfectly in a closet, and is very easy to use. I use less detergent than before, and the clothes come out just right every time.

This washing machine is well built, attractive in appearance and does a great job of getting the laundry clean. Very nice features and easy to understand how to use them. The spin cycle dies a great job of extracting the water which helps them take less time drying. Energy saving feature. Money well spent on a product that should last for many years.

Doesn’t dry well using sensor. Lint trap keeps popping up allowing clothes to get caught and then rip. I would not recommend. LG has been to my house 4 times going on 5. Once for the dryer and going on 4th time for the accompanying washer. Which is complete trash unless you like leaks in your floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this washer for over a month and really like the features of the washer. It has a huge capacity and can handle a large wash without any issues. Th washer looks very clean and sleek and I have been happy with the purchase so far.

The washer and pedestal were delivered at the same time. However, the installer wouldn't hook up the washer to the hoses because they were "old." They were steel wrapped and in excellent condition. The installers put in place and tested the balance by trying to rock the machine. They didn't try to hook up the drain. When I tried to hook up the drain I realized that the hose was too short. I called the installers and they said that they didn't carry extra parts and I'd have to buy an extension. I did and also noticed the installers hadn't installed the plugs that go in the back of the washer. I wound up installing the washer myself and adjusting the balance. The manual appears to be for several models because I can't connect my phone to the washer as the manual implies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 20 yo Kenmore dryer on our laundry center gave out, although the washer was fine we decided it was time to modernize our laundry equipment. So glad we did, now getting clothes cleaner with less detergent and water, and faster. Spin cycle works so well it’s half the time in the dryer. And the units stack, so it’s not taking anymore room than our old laundry center.

This machine is so much better than any we have had—and we have had a bunch. The quietest of any of them. Super easy to use. Most importantly, it cleans our laundry by far the best. Very good value. And reliable. No issues during the two-plus years we have owned it.
