[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is happy, so I’m happy. She’s been wanting a frontloading washing machine for a long time and we were finally able to get one. I’m amazed at how much water we have saved by switching to a front loading machine. This one is super quiet, a lot more quiet than our last machine. Would highly Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my washer a couple of months ago and worried that the current products were not as efficient or easy to use as the older versions. My worries were in vain! My Direct Drive frontload model is fantastic, simple, easy to use and works like a charm. What surprised me the most was how clean the washing was at the end of the various cycles which I tried. I hadn't realized how much my old washer had been lacking in that area. We've had LG TVs before but this is the first LG laundry unit we've owned and it won't be the last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good running washer. Seems to have issues with heavier items - they're still wet after spinning dry. But may need to experiment with different settings. Had issues with leaking, but ran it thru a few 'Tub Clean' cycles to clean out some detergent residue, which helped. Front loaders work better for our needs, so this has been a upgrade from a top-load washer. LG was 'Recommended' by CR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy that I was finally forced to buy a new washer, when my old GE top loader leaked and wasn’t worth fixing anymore. Based on a Consumer Reports recommendation, I ordered this washer online expecting it in a few days or at most, weeks. Lo and behold I then got a message saying it would arrive in more than 3 months. I cancelled the order and found a local dealer (Tripodi Appliances in Port Chester NY) who had it available for a similarly reasonable price and I got it delivered and installed in less than a week. I’ve had the washer for 3 months and I’m extremely satisfied with it, especially after I discovered that you need to leave it open for a day to let it dry out so that it won’t stink. It’s much larger than my previous washer and there’s plenty of room for very large loads. I was surprised that it diagnoses the weight and size of the load to determine the wash time. Very impressive, if it’s not a gimmick. The wash comes out very clean and the spin cycle works extremely well. I’m saving a lot on drying time and cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last washer and dryer never worked well, and died after 8 years. I rely on Consumer Reports, who gave the LG it’s top rating. The LG washer and dryer are quiet, get my clothes clean, and dry quickly. I trust they will last more than 10 years! So far, I never have to think about them - just put dirty clothes in and then get clean clothes out. Definitely worth it!

This is the second LG Washer we purchased. The previous one we sold with our older home and it was 9 years old and running perfectly! Because of the great quality of this washer we wanted another one. The many features are awesome….so many choices of washing options! We highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this washer to replace an older LG model. This washer (like my last LG) is very user friendly. Both of my children can manage their own laundry. My only negative comment is the wash cycles seem longer than I recall (around 80 - 90 minutes)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last spring only to have it delivered and installed in the fall. Initial impression is wonderful, the washer is extremely quiet compared to our former 20 yr old model. The trick on this machine is to NOT OVERLOAD it (if you do, it really shakes) and to level it perfectly since it spins so fast 1300 RPM. I had to level it twice after it shook on the first use. Time will tell if it deserves a 5 star, but so far so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this machine for a couple of months now. It cleans very well, even on the speed wash cycle. We have noticed at least a 50% difference in less dryer time. We have also noticed almost no lint in the dryer. All the features we have used so far work exactly like we thought/hoped they would. Would recommend the pedestal if your not going to stack. We are in our late 60's and figure as good as this product works it will be the last one buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe I waited this long to replace my old washer. I have had this unit for about a month and I am very pleased with this unit so far. My clothes are coming out cleaner than they used to and with the variety of settings it is easy to find the one you want. This unit is also easy to use.
