It's very quiet compared to our other old front load washer. So far mold and mildew has not been a problem either as our old washer had serious problems. I own several LG products and so far I've been very happy with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cursed the day my 8-year-old LG top-loader wouldn't get any power to the motor. I'd had regular balance problems with that washer unless I had a very big load inside. So, I was somewhat reluctant to go with another LG washer. But reading reviews and comments, I decided on this basic front-loader. I'd never had a front load washer. Boy, am I glad I bought this one. So far, it's one of the best appliances that I have EVER purchased (and I'm 74!). First, it gets my wash far cleaner, far whiter than with any washer I've ever used. Second, it uses less detergent and less water. Ir runs a bit longer than a top loader, but it is very, very quiet. And, when I leave the door open to let the washer dry out, my garage is filled with an incredibly pleasant clean laundry fragrance. This is a wonderful washer. It is the low-end washer but it is high performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this three months ago. The round ice maker is great. The fridge has many new improvements. Especially in storage of fruits and vegetables. It allows you to store so many and in the past with other refrigerators you don’t get that. It keeps the food cold it is convenient and well planned. I had an older lg refrigerator and was always happy with it. We put the old one outside by our bbq and the new one is nice and improved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 months into ownership. Bottom line I highly recommend it. Best specs on its class. It's very quiet and efficient. Yes it does a good job on washing cloths, towels, small rugs etc. Negatives? The control panel is low and not well lighted so you have to bend over to see and make changes to programs. The door requires a good push to close. That's it. Otherwise a very good machine. I also purchased a 5 year warranty because who knows?

I bought my very first LG washer about 3 months ago, first run into drain hose not long enough issue and have to use extended drain hose. Then comes issue with it makes my water pipe "banging" noise whenever we use the washer. LG technician came two weeks ago and confirmed the issue. We have to install two pairs water arrestors in both end of washer hoses and reduce the water pressure to quite the noise , today is the 1st time heard much less noise , I've lost many nights sleep over this new LG washer....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washing machine is so quiet that I hardly know that it is on. Thankfully a buzzer announces when the wash cycle is complete. Laundry has come out clean every single time, even when it is loaded to the max.

Gave it 4 stars because it’s a bit louder than I expected and I hate the musical chime when the load is finished. Haven’t been able to figure out how to turn this off. Seems to wash well and my clothes come out clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for another LG that gave 14 years of good service. We were happy to see that there were new features and a larger tub. The downside happened the first time we tried the "Delicates" setting. Each time we tried it we got an IE (input error) message. After trying all the items in the manual I called customer service and the agent essentially read me what was in the manual. Since that didn't clear the problem they shipped a replacement unit. The second unit works fine except it also gives an IE error half way through the Delicates cycle. We have had no problems with any other cycle so it is hard to understand why we have an input error only on that cycle. If not for this issue we would love the machine.
