Bought the washer, however cannot load more than 1/2 tub of dry clothes as it does not fill enough water if added more clothes, also the normal cycle runs 90 min and heavy cycle runs 3 hours. Washer is proclaimed as efficient, but not efficient to put full load of clothes or saving electricity, customer service also said same that washer is not efficient in water filling on full load or saving electricity,

The owner’s manual is terrible. It doesn’t have all the necessary information. The control panel on the washer is not intuitive at all. I wanted to change the water temperature for a cycle I chose and didn’t have a clue how to do it. I had to go to YouTube to get the help I needed. The washing cycles are incredibly long. 93 minutes to wash one load! I don’t call that energy efficient. I wish now I had lurched a different brand of washer.

My LG Washer gets out all the grit, even some stains and marks I thought would never come out. I bought the large capacity one and can now even wash my heavy blankets at home. This unit is a thrill to have and a huge time saver. Oh yes, it's very quiet, too, when running, and so easy to set as far as types of laundry in the wash.

MY OLD WASHER / DRYER PAIR -- WAS (16) YEARS OLD. I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE NEW WASHER, AS IT DOES THE JOB ON WASHING ALL OF MY CLOTHES, TOWELS, BEDDING, ETC. THE LITTLE JINGLE, AFTER THE CLOTHES ARE WASHED, FINALLY CAME ON -- AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OF USE. NOT SURE WHY IT TOOK SO LONG, BUT IT NOW WORKS WELL. I WOULD HIGHLY -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WASHER TO ANYONE THAT WOULD HAVE AN INTEREST IN PURCHASING THIS MODEL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had this washer for about 16 months so far and it’s not working right. All of a sudden all the clothes started smelling bad. I live alone so I hardly ever use it it’s only been used maybe 15 or 20 times and even went to clean the filter and it was pretty much pristine except for a piece of lint. it’s just past the one-year warranty so now I have to pay for a repair for this brand new machine. not impressed.

Arranging a service call under warranty was easy, repair person showed when scheduled, and new piece is in order. So far it has been easy to take care of, but I’m a bit disappointed my new washer already broke. I do an average of one load a day.

I use a wheelchair. With some recent hand and arm strength loss, it was difficult for me to get my wet clothes out of the washer. My friend surprised me with the LG washer. She has one and likes it. It has changed my life! It's easy to get clothes out of the washer so I don't need help with my laundry anymore and I can be more independent. I love that it has many different cycles for different items' needs. It is pretty quiet. The buttons are easy to access and press, which again helps my hands. Even with all of the wash cycle choices, it is easy to understand and use. Recently I sent a text to my friend who purchased it for me and said "I love doing laundry!!" I've had some medical setbacks recently but hope to be able to purchase a matching dryer soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer about six weeks and I love it. It's quiet running and it washes most laundry with spectacular results. The Ultra Load capacity is massive and I appreciate that inceease in size compared to the old LG washer it replaced. Today though, I washed a large load of whites using the 'towels' cycle with hot water and pre-wash settings. I added they prescribed amounts of liquid detergent, pre-wash detergent (OxyClean), and liquid bleach. Due to the pre-wash, the load took a long time to clean. But this time, the whites were drab with "shadows" of stains, though I soaked for several days a few pieces of dingy, gray white items. The washer seems fine and these same settings gave noticeably better results on prior loads of whites.
