[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this at the Labor Day sales. Very happy with my purchase. Gave it 4 stars because it’s a bit louder than I expected and I hate the musical chime when the load is finished. Haven’t been able to figure out how to turn this off. Seems to wash well and my clothes come out clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with my purchase. I had seen in Consumer Reports that LG was rated pretty high. This is my first front load machine and I’m probably not buying any more top loaders. The spin at the end gets the water out of the clothes better, and the balancing works better. This is much quieter too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a simple gal. I don't need a ton of special features just to wash clothes. It took an internet search to figure out what all of the cycles do, since the manual doesn't say a single word about them. I don't like that I have to set the soil level, temp. level, and spin speed every single time. The default settings do not work for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washing machine's manual was unclear on how to do certain things. The cleaning is good but often a second rinse is required to clear all soap from the load. Also, the machine is not very reliable. The door lock went requiring repairs that cost almost 1/3 of what the machine originally cost. I don't think I'll buy an LG washing machine again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just upgraded to our first front loader and are very happy with the LG! It gets our clothes clean and we like the varied settings. Easy to use. Must wipe down seal, some maintenance with this washer that you do not have on top loaders, but worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This front loader will set the washing time for you based on the heaviness of the load. I like that. It's very quiet. My appliance repairman recommends the LG due to the low number of service calls he has to make.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old, top-load washer, with this one, and I am so surprised at how quickly I can get my laundry done. I love the speed wash feature and how effectively it cleans my clothes. Glad I bought this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washing machine last month and I continue to be impressed with it. It is easy to use and is so much quieter than my last front loading washing machine. The capacity is great, it washed a thick queen sized bedspread with no problems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 months into ownership. Bottom line I highly recommend it. Best specs on its class. It's very quiet and efficient. Yes it does a good job on washing cloths, towels, small rugs etc. Negatives? The control panel is low and not well lighted so you have to bend over to see and make changes to programs. The door requires a good push to close. That's it. Otherwise a very good machine. I also purchased a 5 year warranty because who knows?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I became oriented to the new controls, I've found the washer is easy to use. After switching from a top loader, it seems that the new washer uses less soap because the wash cycle uses more movement and therefore generates more suds. I'm very glad I purchased this washing machine.
