I bought this about 6 months ago. works great. I was a little frustrated at first about not being able to open the door at certain times. but I figured out what I needed to. I also leaned against machine which did something to make the "beep" of the buttons not work and I had to reach out to Customer Service to help me get the "beeps" back. no issues since and that was user issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this washer for about a month now, must say it gets the job done and I didn’t even have the washer with the most settings. It’s simple and easy to use. Installation was easy, it fits nice in my laundry room. Just wish it came in other colors except white!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the washer in December but didn’t receive it until January. I’ve only used it a couple of times, but I’m very pleased with how easy it is to program the different functions. I like the large capacity making it great for comforters and large loads. I like the front load with regard to it’s efficiency-low water consumption.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old duo dryer died after 20 years. Replaced both washer and dryer with LG products. Bought because of availability and price but have been very pleased with the build quality and ease of use. Very economical use of water in this front loader. Clothes cleaned even on quick wash setting.

I bought the LG front load washer 5 months ago. Although it washes colors well, it does not achieve the listed "HOT" wash cycle though it's fed with plenty of really hot water. Apparently it's designed for energy saving by disabling any true HOT capability. Therefore, LG should not offer the choice of "HOT" selection, since it's deceitful and dishonest. The machine can only manage a lukewarm wash at best. I feel misled and duped by LG. If LG is desperate to use the "HOT" label, it should list the actual temperature of the wash, e.g. 105 F maximum. That way customers will know they'll never get the hot wash they truly want for their white clothes. Suggestion: LG could offer a "sanitary cycle" which would be truly hot.

Have had it a couple months now, at first it took a little getting used too.( my old washer was almost 30 years old) this is super quiet and does such a good job not to mention the spin gets so much water out the clothes will hang dry in minutes. For light things like t-shirts and sheets I don't even use the dryer any more. I live in a dry climate and sheets will line dry in 10 minutes or so. So I save even more on electric bill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine to replace the previous model which worked for 9.5 years. As we are a very sporty family, we love the speed wash. The larger drum is handy for large blankets, and the faster rpm spin makes for less drying time. So far very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that there are pre-selected settings for towels, bedding, permanent press, delicates, etc. Makes laundry day much easier. Like that I can set my own water temp/spin also. Clothes are washed perfectly. The chime is really nice too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer along with the pedestal washer, matching dryer, and standard pedestal. This review is only in reference to the front loading washer. So far, this washer has done a great job. It has handled everything from small loads all the way up to a queen-sized heavy comforter. The clothes come out fresh and clean and nearly dry, thanks to the incredibly high spin speeds. My only real complaint about the washer so far is that small amounts of watery fabric softener will remain in the dispenser. The washer doesn't seem to flush enough water to clear it all out. Minor issue, and doesn't affect the overall performance. The washer is super quiet, which is nice considering it is in the same room that I work from home in. I was a bit worried about how it would handle unbalanced loads, being a front-loader, but I witnessed first hand how it worked and worked to eventually balance a tough load of heavy items to take it through the spin cycle. There's some really well-thought-out logic in this thing. That didn't go unnoticed. We've had the washer for a month, so I can't speak for longevity and reliability, yet. But functionally, it's been great.

I love the way it washes. When we first got the washer it was soo quiet.! It washed everything so clean too. And then it started..after 4 years...to sound like a Cement mixer. Now it is dying. The repair person says the bearings are shot. Cost for repairs is high enough that I'm just going to buy another one. I do like it that much.
