The first was a first gen model and lasted my large family for over ten years and countless loads of laundry. This model which I purchased to replace the first one has many new and improved features and what seems to be a larger capacity. I look forward to many years and laundry loads with this machine. All my home appliances and TVs as LG. They make superb products that are easy to use and have the most current technology. Their customer service is excellent. I recommend LG products to my friends and family.

Beside the fact it took over 2 months to finally receive my machine and have it installed.I am mostly happy with the machine. It's my first front end loader and I don't like how low to the ground it is and very hard to bend and get all the clothes out. The clothes seem to come out clean. I also was told by several people to keep the door open or the machine will start to smell. So there out a reason I prefer top loader, but I was told these are better. Only time will tell.

We decided to replace our old washer and dryer and LG was the most reliable brand based on my extensive research. I am absolutely in love with this washer. I have had it for over 2 weeks now, so it has gotten used!! It is so much quieter than my previous front loader, especially on the spin cycle. I am beyond pleased! I barely leave reviews on items but this one deserves a review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for a few weeks now and so far it is working perfectly. Like all LG products it seems to be well made. I have found the control panel a little confusing and wish there were more options as to wash/rinse water temps. You can only set the wash temp, at least that is what it seems to me. I have found that even though it has a large tub you can't fill it too full or the clothes won't come clean. If you have soft water that may not be a problem, but we do not. All in all it is a good washer, especially for the price. I will say, though, that because it uses so little water it has a very long wash cycle, 50plus to 80plus minutes, especially if the load is heavy because it chooses the water level by weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought this HE unit. Previously we had a top load unit and we are so happy with the upgrade. It’s far easier to wash our bedding and towels since they don’t get caught on the agitator. We use far less water overall, so now we don’t always keep the cycle on cold like we did before. Finally, the new unit is very quite, which is a relief.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because our Samsung washer died and it works quickly and efficiently. Once in a while the door doesn't close correctly, but it tells you clearly what's wrong before the load starts (de error).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer about two months ago. I love its large capacity! My clothes are cleaned well and the display board is easy to understand. I am embarrassed to include this in a review, but the sounds it makes to alert you to its starting and ending are adorable!!
