This washer is exceptionally quiet and does a fantastic job of cleaning uniformly and spin drying to almost dry. Having it on top of an LG Pedestal makes it very easy to load and unload.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my washer for about two months. It does a great job washing my clothes and linens. The spin cycle is a little loud, so it is best if it can be placed behind a closed door. The washer has a little jingle to tell you when it's done; it's oddly endearing sometimes.

Bought my new front load washer about a month ago so far so good! I love it! so much better than the old one. Love the front load option, the simple dial control and choices of load size, water temperature. clothes come out clean and smelling fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just the first month of use, so I can't comment on the main reason I bought an LG was for its reliability . It works well, has options for all the cycles like towels and bedding. The quick wash is great and cuts the time from about 70 minutes on normal to 25 minutes. It is not as quiet as my older machine, but the spin cycle is efficient and quiet. I wish the paper manual that came with the machine was more complete, you have to go to the website to get the full manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer end of October 2020 and it wasn't finishing any cycle I would set it on. Turns out there was a huge clog of the dryer vent in my house that prevented it to function properly. The SenseFlow feature allowed me to discover this issue and remediate. Hadn't the dryer been this "sensitive" and shut itself to avoid breaking, I wouldn't have known my vent needed an urgent cleaning.

Getting this machine going nearly drove me up a wall. The test run was interrupted by a major flood. Although I had zip-tied the drain tube in place, the U-bend holding it is so flimsy the tube broke free and dumped the water on the floor. Fortunately my old machine had a decent strong U-bend which I was able to use successfully. During the water dump, I disconnected the machine and when I went to start it up again the Control Lock was on. Referring to troubleshooting in the manual, it told me to turn off the control lock, "see Control Lock under Functions and Extra Features". THERE IS NO MENTION OF CONTROL LOCK under Functions and Extra Features in the hard copy manual supplied with the washer, so I tried to look up the manual online. Selecting my model, WM3400CW, it gave a 404 error message - "The requested URL was not found on this server". Model WM3400CV was also listed, so I tried that. It turned out to actually be for model WM3450CW, but it contained the information I needed and I was able to turn off the Control Lock. After this very frustrating beginning and water damage to my floor, I finally got to use the machine and am delighted with it. I am impressed with how dry the spin cycle gets towels, and can reduce time in the dryer compared to my old machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an 11 year old LG that finally had a repair cost exceeding replacement. This is a wonderful replacement but we have noticed that it has trouble balancing some loads - sheets, for example, seem to throw it off balance and the washer takes a long time to complete rinse and spin cycles while it tosses the sheets back and forth to find optimal balance. We'll see how this one holds up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall size and the flexibility with washing options.The front load is much better than the top load. The pedestal was a challenge to set up. The clothes don’t spin as dry as the old LG top load washer.

I bought this LG washer in 2017, and it's still working very well, with 5 kids, almost daily wash. At least clothes looked better than other machines I had used in the past. I literally had it fixed once! And it is still working as new. Good job, LG.
