5 minutes old and won't even start. Error Code DE2. Installers said there is nothing they can do and that it is a LG problem. Brand new washer and can't even wash a load of clothes and now have to wait 6 days without a working washer. Very disappointing.

While this machine seems to take longer than my old one to wash clothes, they come out almost dry and very clean. The manual does suggest wiping down the machine with a towel after each use and to leave the door open after use to keep it from having an odor, but that's a small price to pay to keep the machine fresh. The instructions that came with it are sparse but you can read some tips online about cycles, controls, etc. I haven't noticed any unbalanced loads or any other problems at all. Very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Could not be happier! Replaced a 15 year old unit that had been repaired more then once. What a difference 15 years does with technology . Compared to old washer the cycle time is a bit longer but when the clothes come out of the washer they feel almost dry! The dryer time is cut in half! Saves $$ with my electric dryer!! Very Pleased with my new LG!

Do not waste your money. It's a decent machine but just about 4 years of owning it and the motor is going, the selector dial has a short and won't let us change the cycle type until we can it to rattle around enough to reconnect. Lesson learned on buying appliances from electronics companies. We're going back to old reliable brands.

I like the washer, but I wish the delicate cycle was a little shorter and the speed wash was a little longer. As far as getting my wash clean it is perfect. So far i would recommend this to anyone.

This washer had the capacity I wanted and was priced right. Washes ok but the control panel is not user friendly, they should have added a backlight and charged a bit more. Also contrary to what on reviewer said, there is no custom button on the wm3500cw so you have to set the temps with each load. Also the book that came with it doesn't even give the default temps for all the settings and I don't believe hitting the cold wash button changes the rinse temps. I would avoid using some of the settings if I could find out what the defaults are for that setting. The link mentioned in the owner's manual that is supposed to give you a more detailed manual only gives you the same one it came with. Not even a picture of the control panel with what each button does. What I like about this washer is it is very quiet and doesn't vibrate the whole house like my last one. Nice tune when it finishes but unless you are standing right next to it, you won't hear it even on the loudest setting. If I were to recommend this to a friend I would also tell them about the down side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two months ago, I am overall very satisfied. My only negative item is that you need to dilute the fabric softener and some of my family members forgot and blue streaks running down on the outside of the washer(very hard to clean)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my LG . However , the dispenser sometimes fills with water . I do open the bottom latch on the bottom of the washer to drain the water and clean the little basket . Now when I pull out the tiny hose that drains the water , there is no water coming out and the basket seems to have more water coming out in it .
