I purchased my new washer in 25-Nov-2023 and noticed a couple small dents on lower right side of machine. The first couple times I used it I noticed a small puddle of water on floor in basement as there was a drilled hole in floor for dryer gas line directly behind washer. When I investigated further i found a small puddle of water at rear of machine. I determined it was coming from the drain filter at the front of the machine. The filter basket wasn’t completely installed all the way in so where the basket wasn’t sealing properly. Since then the machine hasn’t leaked and is working fine.

The tub is large enough to handle large and bulky loads. It is great that it also adjust by weight for smaller loads as well.

8 loads of varying sizes and weight clothing/bedding and this has proven itself to be a good buy! Thou I've only had this unit for a couple of weeks it is far superior to my (now dead) previous washer! Very water and energy efficient and clothes/bedding comes out clean and well rinsed. Very happy with this purchase and if it lasts as long as my previous washer (15 + years) it will most likely outlast me!

The dryer works great. However, when it was installed, the installers did not check if the exhaust cross- section was big enough. This issue will not appear as a failure on the installation test. The dryer was consuming 2x as much gas as my 25 y.o. dryer. After thinking about it a bit, I removed our 47 year old exhaust vent and replaced it with a vent with a much larger cross-section. Problem fixed. LG should specify the minimum exhaust in the installation manual. I would estimate it to be 3.5-4 inches.

The large drum fits a large load and it is quiet even at high spin cycle. I might give this a five if I had it longer than two weeks so saw how well it held up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machines are two weeks old and work as I need them to. Generally, I feel an appliance should make life go as expected so you can function. This does the job. I find the washing machine holds a little more than my previous machine so that towels a more moist when I pull them out of the washer. I don’t have this problem with other load types. I am frustrated with the buying process. The liability issues that arise if you purchase the pedestal after the the washers. I wish I were more impressed with the machine but I would be worse off without it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to try stackable washer and dryer because of space issues - against my better judgment. 10 years ago or so, we had a front loading set from GE that can only be described as junk. The set lasted about 5 years, having been repaired constantly during that time. This new set seems, about a month in, to be far superior in performance and quality. I will keep my fingers crossed that this continues.

Didn’t expect to have to wait 2+ weeks for a pickup of old one and even more for delivery of the new one. I was and am still very put out by this defective machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer has a sensor. It bases its washing time on weight and type of wash in machine. The machine is on a stand( purchased separately) so there is minimal bending involved . The only negative is that there is no light in the drum.

When I needed to replace it, I chose LG based on features and price. So far I am very satisfied. Multiple features including speed wash have been used. A full range of water temperatures is available. My two adult Grandsons do their own laundry and are very satisfied with the LG. When I had a question, I got a rapid response from my e-mail inquiry.
