[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this washer 8 months ago and love that it is very quiet and gets the clothes clean. The documentation that comes with it is poor; I had to download basic information online about washer settings and how to use it. It's energy efficient and supposed to be gentler on clothes, but the spin cycle produces a lot of wrinkles so you have to shake out everything before drying. My old top loader lasted for 40 years; I'll be lucky if this lasts for its expected 10-year lifetime. Too much is computer controlled; if this fails, the washer is unusable. After only 7 months the washer started vibrating uncontrollably and sounding like a jet engine taking off during the spin cycle. It was unplugged for 2 weeks before the LG technician came and he found nothing wrong; apparently it was a weird electronic glitch that fixed itself. Very disturbing to have trouble in this short amount of time. The error codes it generated are weird and don't persist or shut down the machine if there's trouble. I'll watch and wait. Meanwhile, I'm considering getting an extended warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer replaced a very old top loader so it’s an automatic improvement. Whites are significantly cleaner, so we’re happy w/that. However, we’re less than thrilled at how well it manages mixed light/heavy or all heavy (towels, jeans) loads. In a previous home we had a 20 yr old front loader that could handle any size load w/o off balancing, but this LG not only cannot handle heavier loads, the manual specifically instructs users to split larger loads. What is the point of a giant capacity, volume-wise, if it cannot handle the weight? We purchased based on ratings, including Consumer Reports, & had higher expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washing machine is so quiet that I hardly know that it is on. Thankfully a buzzer announces when the wash cycle is complete. Laundry has come out clean every single time, even when it is loaded to the max.

Not only is the support group terrible in getting any help with it when things break, but the actual washer is too sensitive. Having to make sure the load is under half full is terrible. Especially on something they include the word HEAVY in the name of it.

Some of the spin/fill cycles can be a little loud and water accumulates in the seal of the drum but it seems like that's common with most front load washers. Other than that I like all the options and ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gas Dryer is a great value for a very good price! Easy to operate Spin Control Knob and Touch Screen Controls. Large Capacity Inner Tub for even some of your heavier loads. Easy to clean lint screen. One minor negative is no inner tub light.

Love the larger capacity tub because it eliminates trips to the laundromat for really big items. I would definitely recommend LG washers and other products.

It is definally high efficiency wash machine with energy saver both water and electricity. This my 2nd time back to back purchase of LG wash machine. Last one last 14 years, more than average of front load.

Overall, I would give this LG washer machine a 3-star rating. While it performed well initially, the breakdown after only three months of use is concerning. However, I am hopeful that my next purchase will prove to be a better experience.
