I bought this dryer and matching wash machine after research on Consumer Reports. The wash machine is the first front loading washer I've ever purchased. The dryer has numerous selections and appears to sense the exact drying time needed. It is very quiet and the digital timer allows you to know exactly how long the drying time will be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is a replacement for an older washer with dozens of bells and whistles that we never used. It's not surprising that this model gets top marks from a leading consumer organization because it has everything we need plus features that we never thought we'd use but really like now. An example is the ability to select cold water wash with one touch. The controls are easy to understand, the washer is quiet, it's holds a lot of clothes, what's not to like? Good job, LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as an replacement for our previous LG washer. I am quite satisfied with its features offered plus its additional ones that I did not have on my old one. The music on the end of the wash, still makes me smile! A very enjoyable product that makes wash day - fun.

Doesn’t clean well on quick wash. If you use fabric softener you can’t use quick wash or else you get stains. Also don't use pods on quick wash as they won’t disintegrate and will cause stains. We have had less than a year and the drum stopped spinning. Followed all instructions to clear the error and have had to wait over two weeks for an authorized service rep who is coming out this Tuesday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought last month to replace the washer I had. Was very impress when I open door to put clothes in the very large capacity of the drum and the cleaning feature after reading about it and why you should do it did once already and will do it monthly excellent washer very quiet running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received my washer. I was impressed with its style and eloquent look. Then I had my first wash. I checked the clothes for cleanliness. They smelled with a fresh aroma. They were almost dry. And to compliment it all, the washer plays a warm and soft melody when it has completed its cycle of washing. I was pleased and very delighted. It brings a smile to my face every time I hear the music. Very effective.

Ordered washer/dryer pair and stacking bracket direct from LG. Price was same as 'big box' stores, plus no additional charge for delivery, setup, and haul away which was great. However, bracket delivered separate, and delivery/setup contractor would not install due to bracket not being included on their truck (company policy). Installation was relatively painless, but would have been ideal if I did not have to do it myself. Delivery contractors were quite friendly, and did leave the necessary hose connections. Washer and dryer are great. Huge capacity in a standard 27 inch width. Very quiet compared to my previous units (non-LG). The doors, hinges, and closures are all solid. Washer will 'final spin' the clothes well on 'Medium' setting. Also, the bottom of the washer tub slopes down towards the back so that water drains better and will hopefully reduce mildew buildup on the door gasket. This was an issue with my last front load washer. With the Dryer, I tried different drying temperatures and landed on the 'High' heat setting as my go-to for standard loads if I want to get drying completed within 50 to 90 minutes. That's fine. I figure medium and low heat will handle smaller, more delicate loads without excessive time or damage to the material. Overall, I really like this washer/dryer pair. They are a definite step up in quality and design from my old set. I'd recommend this LG set.

I've used this washer for just short of a month now and I love. The front end feature uses less detergent and less water. The laundry gets very clean and spins more water out than our previous washer that reduces dryer time. The 15 minute cycle is perfect for those not so dirty clothes. This was a great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, this machine has been through two regular laundry days, plus every bath/shower mat in the house, a queen comforter, and a king comforter. I opted to forgo the bells and whistles of the higher-priced models, and I can't say I miss a single one. My older LG dryer is happy, too, since the washer spins out so much water that the dryer doesn't have to work as hard. My utility company might be the only loser here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace the “top of the line” washer that didn’t last 10 years. Simple clean design, easy to operate, no fancy bells and whistles to break down. And a cute little jungle to let you know your cycle is over. Plus it cleans really well!
