[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer not even 2 months ago... It ran fine for about month...The it started dumping LOTS of water all over the floor. It took almost 3 weens to get a warranty guy out to fix it. It worked for 2 days, and it is, once again, dumping water all over the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the washer for 2 months now. Great overall, only downside is that for parts of the cycle it can be louder than expected. Closing the door is easy enough. Bought the pedestal with it and saves from leaning over too much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went from a front load to a top load HE about five months ago & absolutely hated the top load! Was able to manage an exchange for the top load to front load & it’s never let me down, unlike the top load did. This front load is an excellent machine! Full wash cycles, gets even the dirtiest, oiliest shop clothes clean; stained towels come out fresh & clean! Highly recommend this machine!

It has different labels on the types of wash loads than my old machine and I am still figuring out the best settings. Happy that is is quiet when running, spins out all the water possible, and has a lovely chime when done. My cat loves her LG washer and dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the washer, it washes well, spins out really dry, saves drying time. However - at 11 months old - it needs a new pump and control board. Factory service has been slow. I would recommend the washer when working, but not pleased with the fact that it is broken already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 12 year old front load washer. The LG fit in the space of the old washer , which was a must. I read some reviews that scared me about the LG . They were about leaking from day one and shaking hard enough to make it move. I decided to take a chance because of the washer fitting in the space and the price . It's only been a month and so far the washer has no problems . It cleans very well and I like the feathers the LG washer offers , but only time will tell . If I get the same amount of use as my old one I will be very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this machine for 2 weeks, and we love it. We've done all kinds of loads, from delicates to large, heavy loads with 8 towels. It handled them all very well. We've had an LG before and had great success with it, which prompted this purchase. Minus a star for the control panel, which is easy once you realize it's like a touch screen, and not a push button. It also requires reading carefully, as some functions are on the same touchpad, labeled below the main function of that pad, in fainter lettering, but require a 3 second hold. For example, it took us a few minutes to figure out how to unlock the door lock, after we accidently locked the "Control Lock", which is on the same touchpad for "Rinse and Spin" and is activated and deactivated with that 3 second touch. This is not a real problem once you realize that there are 4 of these 'dual function' buttons. The other trouble we had initially was with getting the machine level. We have a tile floor with 1/4" grout lines, in a laundry closet, which we discovered is not perfectly level. I wasn't watching the installers carefully enough, and it's impossible to reach the rear corners to adjust the rear feet. On a first heavy load of towels (we have a big dog!) the machine moved, and was out of level. I had to tilt the machine out enough to reach to back legs to raise them, reposition the machine, and then adjust the front legs. I also used some wood blocks to prevent any further tiny travel which might make the machine out of level again. This is an installation issue, not technically a problem with the machine. However I imagine there are lots of settings where a way to adjust the rear legs from the front of the machine would be useful, like mine. Something for the engineers to work on.

My purchase was replacing the existing LG washer. Often many models needs to replace both washer and dryer, but the existing dryer was still compatible with existing bracket to reuse. I only had to replace washer. It's LG washer. I think it is best class on the level.

Bought new LG washer and dryer a month ago. Not able to put the amount of minutes I want it to wash. It weighs it and IT decides how many minutes for a load. There is no soak cycle. I am not familiar with all this SMART stuff. I have a land line and do not use a cell phone! Give me back the good ole days!

This was a replacement for our 16yr old Samsung. Does the job and seems to be very efficient. It was hard, however, for wife and I to figure out how to use with provided quick start instructions and online manual; very broadbrush where more details desired.
