I bought this two days ago based on consumer reports review. Delivered in two days; however, upon turning it on for the FIRST time displays a TE error code. Spent an hour with tech support and they are going to send a repairman, wait for it, for a BRAND NEW WASHER! Will update after the repairman comes NEXT week!

I have run cleaning loads and vinegar but everything smells moldy and nothing comes out clean. My towels smelled so bad after washing that I had to buy new ones. I had an older lg washer and tried to just replace but this is awful.

No drum light. Does not save prior settings. Have to reprogram each load. Cycle times entirely too long. Unless I want to spend entire day washing clothes, I have to wash several days t/o week. With my old washer, wash cycle would align with drying time. Now my clothes are dry at least 20-30 mins before washer is completed. Old washer had more features. Because of supply chain issues, replacement part was on backorder. I wish I could've waited for repair. Would not recommend this model.

This is my one month review of this LG frontloading washer. Yes I have used it a full month and the machine has performed well. One month is not enough time to explore the multiple functions available here but I am impressed with the solid performance so far. The laundry comes out clean and very wringed out. This saves on dryer time and more efficient energy usage. In use the washing action is very solid and the spinning action balanced. I think this may be a long term durable item.

It works well, has options for all the cycles like towels and bedding. The quick wash is great and cuts the time from about 70 minutes on normal to 25 minutes. It is not as quiet as my older machine, but the spin cycle is efficient and quiet. I wish the paper manual that came with the machine was more complete, you have to go to the website to get the full manual

I liked my old washing machine, but this one is quieter, more attractive, and more efficient. It has all the features anyone could want and at a reasonable price for high-quality front-loading HE washer.

I purchased the LG front load washer about 4 months ago. Unfortunately, it does not spin the clothes dry enough. and I need to add an additional 10 to 12 minutes in the dryer. I did have a technician to check it out and he couldn't find anything wrong with the way it performs. (soap is not an issue) My last LG front load washer was great and I expected my next one to be the same.

Bought this unit 4.5 years ago, partially based on reviews. Big mistake! The unit has a design defect, when spinning its Washer Hose With Bellow (LG port 4738ER1004B) "rubs" the vibrating drum and developes a hole, which starts leaking water to your floor. The very first time this happened 13 months after the purchase, i.e. it lasts "long enough" to survive the 12-m warranty. The next failure happened about a year ago, and this week here we go again. The washer is fully operational otherwise, the part is not expensive and easy to replace, but the potential for water damage is too big for my liking so it finally goes to the dump. I firmly believe that the company has to globally recall every single unit built with this part and provide a free replacement. Until this happens, I'm not buying their products.
