The stacking kit came so late that the washer and dryer couldn't be set up and now just sitting in my living area and I can't even use this. Price dropped but 3 days after I ordered but LG refuses to offer price adjustment - some agents said to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my washer a few months ago, and it’s been one of my favorite purchases. It holds a lot of laundry, and cleans thoroughly. I like the variety of settings, especially the quick wash. Overall, this had as been the best washer I have ever purchased.

I converted from from top load to front load washers with this machine. There is no longer any top load machine with a base frame that would stabilize the machine and have a quieter operation. I own this LG front load for 1 year so far and I am pleased with the washer's very quiet operation. Lack of an agitator means less punishment on my clothes. Even with the laundry door open, I can hardly hear the machine operating, with minimal floor vibration. Clothes come out almost dry with the high rotating speed around 1300 rpm, compared to 700 rpm for a front load machine. The machine works very well. I gave 4 stars because the control panel is not backlit so it is hard to see the settings. Without the backlight, I thought the washer was defective! I would have liked a setting of spin only - for items handwashed and needing a good spin only

5 minutes old and won't even start. Error Code DE2. Installers said there is nothing they can do and that it is a LG problem. Brand new washer and can't even wash a load of clothes and now have to wait 6 days without a working washer. Very disappointing.

Overall washer is great. It seems to clean our clothes well. The only complaint I would have about the machine is the time it takes to complete a cycle. Not related to the machine, but we didn’t receive our free pedestals. This would have been much nicer if they had included them due to having to bend so much to get clothes in or out!

I bought this to replace a 22 year old dryer. The electronic controls took some time to get used to. It is fairly easy to use but I prefer to use low heat not medium on my clothing. Most settings using sensor drying are exclusively medium heat so I have had to use timed drying. I would prefer to be able to use the sensor with low heat but it is not an option.

We have had this machine for six months since December 2024. So far it is a great machine. Our clothes are clean, the machine is quiet and the chime at the end of the cycle is pleasant and reminds us the load is finished. We leave the door and compartment open at the end of the cycle to keep the machine mold and mildew free and have had no odor issues. The only downside that I can see is that if you wash something bigger and heavier such as a large blanket or light comforter the machine moves out of place while it spins due to the weight. I haven’t put any really heavy comforters in it, just a light one. But it’s not a big deal.

This unit is probably one of the best out there and is well priced for value, quality of workmanship, ease of use, efficient water use and quality washing plus a known name brand providing excellent goods. We also have their Dryer for the last 12 years w/O any problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this washer. Bought it in 2020. Last year I took notice it was leaking down the side of my machine. Causing it to rust at the dispenser down to the clean out door. In 2024. Our dispenser was replaced. As of now I is not leaking.

It was great when it worked. 2 years and 7 months after buying and installing the control board is no good. We're out of factory warranty too. After getting error code TE1, troubleshooting and research I learned that the circuit boards are a common fault with LG dryers.
