[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer replaced another LG front loader I had for 15 years. Not much changed except for the Wi-Fi option which is not necessary and did not get. This washer throughly cleans clothes and should last as long as my last washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Could not be happier! Replaced a 15 year old unit that had been repaired more then once. What a difference 15 years does with technology . Compared to old washer the cycle time is a bit longer but when the clothes come out of the washer they feel almost dry! The dryer time is cut in half! Saves $$ with my electric dryer!! Very Pleased with my new LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this front loading washer so much more than my last one. The opening is very large so it is easy to get the clothes in and out. It is easy to keep clean and doesn’t collect stuff in the door sealing gasket. It is easy to operate and easy to select options (I never did figure out my previous machine and basically chose the same for every load). I especially like the extra spin cycle for delicates as they come out almost dry and just need a touch ip in the dryer. It also stays in place even on a pedastal.

We noticed a couple of minor issues that others had written, they seemed they were more personal preferences than issues with the washer. We have found this to be everything we wanted in a washer, the spin cycle is great, the load is almost dry at the end. The washer is quite, spin is smooth and controls are easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the BEST washer and dryer, I have ever owned. The technology used in the Dynamic Duo are without equal. My laundry tasks are a joy to complete!!! These are a great addition to the many other LG products in my household.

I've been using this washing machine for a few months now and have been very satisfied. I have tried a few wash settings; there are many settings, but a few meet my needs. The washing comes out very clean. With the high spin, much water is removed, the washing dries in a 1/2 hour in the dryer. This machine requires less water to do a large wash than my old top loader. I'm glad this is a water conserving machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second front loader and our first direct drive. Which works better than the belt. Although some of the wash times are longer, it really cleans the clothes for the least amount of money. I really like the Cold Wash feature. It's longer time but it uses different agitation methods to give you a warm water result using cold water. There's plenty of room to wash our queen comforter - we found it best to use medium spin so it doesn't give an error code. So there is another positive, there's plenty of setting adjustments to make just about everything work for you.

I wanted a good basic dryer & didn't feel that I needed some of the fancier features offered. I also didn't care about having another app on my phone. This one fits the bill but I wish that it was more flexible. I prefer to use low heat for most of my drying however for most of the sensor-drying settings, it goes to medium heat and it will not permit me to change it. In order to use low heat, I have to do a timed dry instead which is rather frustrating since my 22 year old dryer that I gave up let me set for what I wanted. It works well but I just wish the settings were more flexible.

This washer has a major disadvantage that I wish I knew about before I purchased it. I discovered it only after I began using the machine. Using the normal cycle on the LG for a regular/average size load takes 91 minutes from start to finish! Last year, I purchased a competitor's similar front loading washer for our summer home, and the normal cycle with the same size and type load takes only 47 minutes start to finish. The clothes come out equally clean, the machines are equally quiet and the price of the washers was basically the same. So why does the competitor's washer get the job done in 47 minutes and the LG takes 91 minutes to do the same thing. I can get 2 loads done in the competitors machine in the time it takes the LG to get one done. I have begun washing all loads in the LG on the delicate cycle because it is approximately 45 minutes long. I don't want to do this, but I also don't want to wait an hour and a half for a load of laundry. The downside to using the delicate cycle in the LG is that the spin cycle on delicate is not a high spin, only medium. I am stuck with the LG and am so sorry I did not buy the same competitor's set for my primary residence as I bought for our summer home. I'd gladly mention the competitor's name but the guidelines LG has for writing a review says to refrain from mentioning competitors and prices.
