[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bit the bullet and bought a front load washer earlier this month, and I'm so glad I did. This was the best gift to myself. I love my washer. I won't let my husband near it. He wants to use it and I will not let him. The washer talks to me with cute little tunes to let me know it misses me. Gets clothes cleaner than my top load and sheets feel fresher. I'm so happy!

We did not waste money on the marketing features (WiFi seriously?, Steam heh?) and bought the model that does the job. The capacity is wonderful, but it cannot handle utilizing the capacity fully. The users manual is a joke, it comes in 3 languages and does not provide ANY information on the options the various cycles perform, let alone a schematic on your machine — basics! This product is another example of corporate CYA at the consumers expense, yet it’s the best of what’s available. Engineered obsolescence at it’s finest.

We have been a LG product for our home and investment properties for the last decade. LG is one of the few companies that provides a great product and world class customer service! Had to replace motor and now a bearing went out. Was told by repairman that replacing washer was cheaper than fixing.

I'm confident my clothes are thoroughly clean before I transfer them to the dryer. Also, love the chime rather than the buzzer when the cycle is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just the first month of use, so I can't comment on the main reason I bought an LG was for its reliability . It works well, has options for all the cycles like towels and bedding. The quick wash is great and cuts the time from about 70 minutes on normal to 25 minutes. It is not as quiet as my older machine, but the spin cycle is efficient and quiet. I wish the paper manual that came with the machine was more complete, you have to go to the website to get the full manual

The spin cycle is a little loud, so it is best if it can be placed behind a closed door. The washer has a little jingle to tell you when it's done; it's oddly endearing sometimes.

Have to use HE detergent and follow the recommendations for care and maintenance for the front loaders to avoid issues down the road. Manual does a good job explaining all this.

After consulting with a local washer repair compan, he left a strong impression that LG was still one of the most dependable (and affordable)machines on the market. Needless to say we remain satisfied withe the LG washer we bought and hope to have it for years to come
