Our previous washer and dryer were also LG and they were still working well after ten years. We took advantage of a great sale offer and upgraded to the new machines . Tgey are working well as expected.

I live right on the ocean and was told that my appliances would last at the most 8 years due to the salt and weather conditions, my first set lasted 12+! I was shocked when I pulled out the old paperwork and saw how long I had them, they still looked brand new. I knew immediately I would replace them with LG

Delivered with care by two amazing guys that were incredibly kind and hooked up everything calm and carefully. Checked to make sure they were both working properly before they left. Very happy. We have done loads of laundry all weekend and they both did a fantastic job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an 11 year old LG that finally had a repair cost exceeding replacement. This is a wonderful replacement but we have noticed that it has trouble balancing some loads - sheets, for example, seem to throw it off balance and the washer takes a long time to complete rinse and spin cycles while it tosses the sheets back and forth to find optimal balance. We'll see how this one holds up.

I’ve had this washer since mid July and it leaks sporadically so called a repairman. Seems this machine should only use one {1) teaspoon of he detergent or it doesn’t drain properly so leaks! The Lg repairman was prompt and very helpful and I am to run the clean cycle 5 or 6 times to get the soap residue out! My previous front loader had no problems and I used a minimal amount of soap. I am having a problem believing one teaspoon of he detergent will clean a load of clothes. The repairman just left and the washer is going thru it’s clean cycle (over 80 minutes) and there are suds in the tub. I will do the clean cycle every day for the next 5 days and see what happens. The clothes come out of the washer at the end of the wash all smashed up against the back of the machine and very wrinkled. I really wish I had my 15 year old washer and dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly, we did not upgrade our hoses sufficiently and leakage voided our warrenty--the machine died in 4 months from leakage issues. The other LG washer I have, very similar model, is still going strong 5+ years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s fine I guess. It was already in the house when I bought the house. It doesn’t have an agitator so that helps keep clothes looking newer than they would if you washed them in a machine with an agitator. If your clothes are covered in mud or really dirty, you would have to wash them twice. I’m told this machine doesn’t use much electricity or much water compared to older machines with agitators.

While this machine seems to take longer than my old one to wash clothes, they come out almost dry and very clean. The manual does suggest wiping down the machine with a towel after each use and to leave the door open after use to keep it from having an odor, but that's a small price to pay to keep the machine fresh. The instructions that came with it are sparse but you can read some tips online about cycles, controls, etc. I haven't noticed any unbalanced loads or any other problems at all. Very happy with my purchase.

This machine works 24 /7 between my 3 dogs, 1 cat, and aging Mom who lives with me full time! I can count on my new LG to be there when I need it! Easy set-up and beautiful results every wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two months ago, I am overall very satisfied. My only negative item is that you need to dilute the fabric softener and some of my family members forgot and blue streaks running down on the outside of the washer(very hard to clean)
