I’ve had this washer since mid July and it leaks sporadically so called a repairman. Seems this machine should only use one {1) teaspoon of he detergent or it doesn’t drain properly so leaks! The Lg repairman was prompt and very helpful and I am to run the clean cycle 5 or 6 times to get the soap residue out! My previous front loader had no problems and I used a minimal amount of soap. I am having a problem believing one teaspoon of he detergent will clean a load of clothes. The repairman just left and the washer is going thru it’s clean cycle (over 80 minutes) and there are suds in the tub. I will do the clean cycle every day for the next 5 days and see what happens. The clothes come out of the washer at the end of the wash all smashed up against the back of the machine and very wrinkled. I really wish I had my 15 year old washer and dryer!

This washer is exceptionally quiet and does a fantastic job of cleaning uniformly and spin drying to almost dry. Having it on top of an LG Pedestal makes it very easy to load and unload.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good! I had an old model washer with a center spin column prior to purchasing this front loading model. I am able to do larger loads and there's no center column for things to get caught on. The variety of pre-set settings (normal, bedding, speed, etc) is just enough without being overwhelming, and it's easy to make adjustments for more specific loads. This washer was a good value for the money.

We have used the setting for avoiding wrinkles when drying cycle but sometimes there are still some wrinkles. The one feature we wished it has is a light inside when you open it. Overall it was a good deal and we are satisfied.

The owner’s manual is terrible.It doesn't explain all the settings. It explains how I have to keep the machine clean and dry. It doesn't explain how to change any of the options on the pre set settings. Even youtube wasn't all that helpful. I shouldn't have to run every cycle to figure out how to adjust the settings. I am totally frustrated that it doesn't explain how to adjust the setting. How do I set the prewash? And why are the cycles so long? A smallish load I had took 70 minutes. My husband put a load in and it took 2 hours?! I shouldn't have to google or youtube to figure out how to tweak the settings! I still haven't figured it out. I'm still looking. I've only had this machine a couple of days or other than the useless owners manual, I can't rate anything else. I will update. this review after I've figured everything out.

I like the variety of settings, especially the quick wash. Overall, this had as been the best washer I have ever purchased.

Spin cycle has cut drying time (also LG) by 10 to 15 minutes! Easiest ever to balance! Anyone could learn controls in 5 minutes! Speed wash is special for lightly soiled laundry! Performance!

This machine works 24 /7 between my 3 dogs, 1 cat, and aging Mom who lives with me full time! I can count on my new LG to be there when I need it! Easy set-up and beautiful results every wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried a top load washer first, but it really didn't get the clothers as clean as we wanted, and dress clothes were wrinkled excessively. This front loader is wonderful, has 7 individual load settings for towels, normal, bedding, heavy duty, permament press, delicates and even a speed wash. Temperature settings for cold, warm, & hot, spin settings for high, medium & low and soil settings for light, normal or heavy. There's also a pre-wash setting for large loads and we'll use that for heavy soiled loads as well (sweaty clothes from a workour or shoveling snow!) There's also a tub clean setting to reduce mold & mildew issues we had in our last front loading machine. At the end of the cycle there's a meldoy that plays to let you know it's done, my wife loves that feature.

I purchased the LG front load washer about 4 months ago. Unfortunately, it does not spin the clothes dry enough. and I need to add an additional 10 to 12 minutes in the dryer. I did have a technician to check it out and he couldn't find anything wrong with the way it performs. (soap is not an issue) My last LG front load washer was great and I expected my next one to be the same.
