[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have a 6 and 5 year old not to mention an 18 month old and I'm due in 10 weeks with my final child. It has taken me three kids to realize that there is a better option than those annoying baby gates that you set up in the doorway and then push down to secure it and you have to step over it. This is so much easier and everything that you need is included in the box. Once you have the setup it's extremely secure and it comes with the rubber stoppers for the wall in case you don't have a door jam to shove it up against so it makes the gate sturdy enough even my Great Dane can jump up on the gate and it won't fall down. Its holding up perfectly to my 18 month old too. By far the best gate i have owned yet.

We got this to block off the bedroom and bathroom portion of our hose from our puppy. The walkthrough door allows us not to have to hop over gate everytime we need to go to the back part of the house. As of the installation of this gate (Late April 2009) through today May 2 2009 we have been accident free in a house where the puppy was constantly "doing her business" in the back rooms. Now we can also leave the doors open and welcome the lovely breeze through our house making it all that much nicer! This was exactly what we needed. It was a breeze to put up and I suggest to use the wall cups! It adds support and doesn't let it fall down when knocked over (like my son tried to do a few times)

I am very impressed with this product. I was worried that it would not me my expectations because it was so cheap. Well it meets all my expectations. So much easier than the other gate we were using. Our four pit bulls have not been able to knock it down or destroy it. Love it.

Easy to set up & adjust - did it myself in about 5 minutes. Only a couple of minor complaints - the latching mechanism is a little difficult to open one-handed, which can happen often if you're carrying a child or laundry, etc. However, it is definitely manageable & will be even harder for my grandchild to figure out as she gets older, which is a plus, so for me the pro & con of the latch cancel each other out, LOL. The only other minor complaint is that the opening itself is a little narrow for a plump grandma to go straight through comfortably - if I walk straight through, it IS wide enough, but my jeans scrape the bars on either side, so I usually turn slightly sideways to save wear & tear on my pants. Not a huge deal, but just letting people know. The gate is DEFINITELY very sturdy & will last well into the toddler years, & very reasonably priced. I'm pleased with the purchase & would recommend to others. I ordered this online on a Friday night & received on the next Wednesday, well within the stated delivery & exceeding my expectation.

I am a mom of two very active boys .. I bought this gate to keep my kids out of kitchen a crawler and a toddler.. it works perfect .. i Love the gate for 3 reasons 1.my toddler keeps shaking it (we didn't screw it on de wall) but holds up well .. 2.kids can not climb on the gate .. my lil guy is 2yrs old and tried a lot but no success 3.good quality metal gate which LL definitely last long for all de wear and tear Cons 1. U will have measurements issues .. it might not fit perfectly.. ours dint fit we're v wanted

The Regalo Easy Swing Gate is everything I expected it to be. My husband said it was easy to install, very sturdy and easy to use. My only negative comment is that I wish the gate opening was a few inches wider so that when you step down a stair, you did not have to turn sideways. I am of average size, I am not wider than the gate opening but I do have turn a bit sideways to step down. I am happy with the product and would order it again if I needed a second gate.

I'm not sure how a baby gate gets better than this. It's cheap, it's tall, it's wide, it locks, and it doesn't need to be screwed in the wall. It CAN be screwed down, but we've never had an issue of it moving just from the pressure option, and we've had it for over a year now. The 4 ends have an adjustable bolt that you screw in or out to keep it in place with just pressure, and that's all you need. To be fair, it's the only baby gate I've ever used, but again, I don't know how it gets better than this.

Just because this gate is affordable doesn't mean it's cheaply made. I received this gate as a gift (I told the giver what I wanted), and love it! My strong-man of a 1yr old still has not gotten through it. He pushes, pulls, and rattles the heck out of it and it still stands. It even keeps my 130lbs doberman out! I used the wall mount cups as well, since they give more grip. I do recommend that you check the gate weekly (like the manufacturer says), since regular use *can* loosen it. In all, I love this gate so much, I'm going to be getting a third one this week. Definitely a good buy!

While it is not hands free like the gates you open with your foot, it is very easy to operate with your hand. The gate is a little narrow compared to the last one we had, but it is wide enough. Overall, we are quite happy with our purchase and the price.

First off I bought this on a Monday and it got delivered that Wednesday. Secondly, very easy to install and pretty self explanatory. It's made well, sturdy and fits my opening perfectly (39in). For the price and the quality, I plan on buying another one for my baby that's constantly on the run :)
