I’ve only used old school gates you have to step over, so my review might not be the most reliable in the overall opinions of baby gates. That being said - this was a game changer for me. Being able to just walk through is so nice and helpful! It’s worth the $$ for that. The installation was EASY %26 I do put ALOT of things together - this was one of the easiest I’ve ever done. Looks wise it’s basic but definitely looks better than other gates I’ve used Functions great 👍 Pleased all the way around so 5/5

Our children are all grown but we have a 18 month old pug that if left alone he would wounder all through the hose and get into everything he should not so the two gates we bought were just the answer. After ordering the gates they arrived in only two days and were perfect.

I love this product. Very easy to assemble. I wish I invested in this product months ago. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a sturdier baby gate. My husband and I are using our gates to keep our dogs out of the bedrooms at home.

This gate was very easy to install, it took just a few minutes, and it is attractive and far superior to the old expansion wood frame gate. It opens easy and it stays in place much better. It does require putting holes in the wall to secure it properly, but I was able to secure it with pressure just as the old expansion gate was.

very easy set up, has an extension if needed to extend for a little larger door, you can keep it in the doorway for short periods of time or you can permanently mount it to the door frame, either way they give you all the tools you need to get it done

I purchased this for my daughter who is 7 months pregnant. She has a puppy that she keeps gated out of the back bedrooms, and has been stepping over a gate. Not a good proposition in her condition. With this gate she can easily open it and step through instead of climbing over. It will be as convenient when the baby arrives.

It's nice but not the best. It is not the most secure gate because I think my dog opened it one day on his own because it's just a plastic lever on top that doesn't securely lock. I think he put his paw on it and it opened. I like the lock kind better.

It’s a good gate if you are not worried about getting a baby or a pet stuck between the vertical bars of the gate. Anything that got through the opening you trying to block off will keep trying again. Having such wide opening on this gate is a big problem for me, and presenting quite the challenge to come up with a solution to block it. I’m using this for a small dog that squishes herself right through this gate. It’s easy to set up.

We purchased this swing gate to use for our pets. It is installed in a doorway and works wonderfully for our needs. No matter where you install it I would recommend using the screw in brackets that are included. It says to use at the top of stairs, but we found that it makes the gate feel more secure with them on rather than off. For the price we expected a lessor product and were pleasntly suprised by the sturdyness of the Regalo gate. It also came with an expansion piece if we ever decide to use it in a wider space.

Great baby gate, I bought this gate for my stairway to prevent my one year old from climbing up the stairs and it does the job. However I must say, the gate is not wide enough if you are a big person or someone who has wide hips, just wanted to throw that out there.
