First off I bought this on a Monday and it got delivered that Wednesday. Secondly, very easy to install and pretty self explanatory. It's made well, sturdy and fits my opening perfectly (39in). For the price and the quality, I plan on buying another one for my baby that's constantly on the run :)

I purchased this DESPITE several reviews telling me not to. I have a 35-36" in opening #the walls are not completely level and we have baseboards#. In general, assembly via tension was super easy. I had no issues with figuring out how to install it. Without the extension it comes with the gate would not stay in place because the tension was way too loose, so I installed the extension. With the extension it BARELY fit on the drywall #wouldn't install into the baseboards#. Now, I have it installed but because of the baseboards we have to step over the bottom bar which is approx. 3 inches off the ground. Not a major deal, but when hauling laundry it's just one more thing I have to think about. It's also a pain because it's at the top of the stairs. It seems fairly secure- My son is only crawling at this point so he will test it out sooner or later. If we need to use the hardware mounting we will, but wanted to test it before drilling; and it's a good thing because we're going to keep it where it is for now, but move it later. Then we will invest in a more expensive one that fits in the doorway better so we don't have to step over the bar anymore. But for now it works. I think for the price it's a good gate. I wouldn't buy this if you have baseboards and similar measurements 35" or 36". But, if it's a few inches larger or smaller this should work even with baseboards.

I really liked this product, it works really well in my hallway. The only issues I have are: the bar that goes across the bottom of the gate is way too thick, my child and me and my husband have tripped over it. The other thing is: for being a child gate to contain children out of a certain area, it only took my two year old one day to figure out how to unlock and open the gate

I bought this gate because it was the cheapest "easy open" gate I could find. However, it is HAZARDOUS for children. My 4-year-old son got his finger caught in the latch (there are multiple areas on the latch that can easily pinch) and had to be taken to the ER to get stitches. So saving $15 on the gate ended up costing us a ridiculous medical bill.

I love this gate! It is very easy to open and close one-handed once you get the hang of it, and was easy to set up - even with my 8 month old "helping". It took about 5 minutes to set up, and is holding steady in the doorway 3 weeks later. The only things that aren't great are that the doorway is a little narrow, which takes some getting used to, and the gate is only available online. However with sitetostore, shipping is free, so it's totally worth it.

I got this gate to keep my dog in. He's starting to get big and if he jumps on it just right he can somehow manage to get it open but other then that its a good product. Its easy to assemble and you can open and close it with one hand, which is quite nice.

I ordered this gate to keep my dogs out of the area that we have the cat litter box in and to keep our 18 month old son from going down our basement stairs. It was very easy to install, and it is not hard to use like others that I have tried. I was very impressed by the quality, especially for the lower cost. Most of the other gates I looked at were a lot more expensive. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and I am getting ready to purchase another one for another doorway.

The gate is easy to manage and set up. You don't have to attach anything to the walls b/c the guards are secure enough to hold in place with the pressure of the rubber length adjusters. It's easy to get in/out. The only thing I would change about this gate is that the door would open flush with the rest of the gate instead of only halfway. Otherwise a fantastic item for the price!

We bought this item to help us keep out 2 schnauzers contained and we are looking towards the time when out twin Grandbabies begin to walk. It was easy to install and does the job very well. It looks nicer than those wooden type gates and can be operated easily. I would highly recommend this gate!

Purchased this gate for a group toddler room so we could open door to feel air in the hallways without having kids run out. It's a perfect height and easy for adults to get in and out. Our only downfall is the pressure mount is not as easy to install in the doorway as it appears, and if not installed correctly, it does fall or come out of place. When installed correctly, it is a wonderful gate! I do recommend this bc it is made of sturdy quality, looks expensive but actually only cost around $30. It serves its purpose.
