We ordered this gate to keep the dog out of the play room. The dog is a rescue and still learning which toys is his (that he can chew on) and those that belong to the children. The easy open gate allows the children to conveniently come and go. Now to train the kids to keep the gate closed! Maybe a treat each time they close the gate?

I love the gate...have two already, but this one arrived and one of the bars was bent. Aesthetically that is annoying, but I don't want to spend the time and money to ship it back to exchange it. The price is very reasonable. Costs a lot more if you buy a similar item at Babies R Us or Target.

This is the best gate we have tried. It was easy to install; however, if you are planning to use Y-spindles from One Step Ahead, they will not fit in the openings of this gate. Other than that, we love it. It's easy to open and my 8-year old is able to open and close it by himself very easily too! I can hold the baby on my hip while opening the gate with one hand also. The walk-thru opening could be a little wider, but after trying 4 other gates... this one is great! Love it.

Bought this to keep my dogs out of my room without closing them off with the door. It is great. The gate is easy to open and close and if you have no children you don't need to lock it but it will still keep the gate shut. The dogs don't seem bothered that they are on the other side and my allergies are better for it.

I am a mom of two very active boys .. I bought this gate to keep my kids out of kitchen a crawler and a toddler.. it works perfect .. i Love the gate for 3 reasons 1.my toddler keeps shaking it (we didn't screw it on de wall) but holds up well .. 2.kids can not climb on the gate .. my lil guy is 2yrs old and tried a lot but no success 3.good quality metal gate which LL definitely last long for all de wear and tear Cons 1. U will have measurements issues .. it might not fit perfectly.. ours dint fit we're v wanted

I ordered 4 in total to block my bedrooms. I ordered 2 and tried them out. I ordered them to block my dogs from going into my bedrooms. I have 8 grandchildren the youngest is 4 I taught them how to open and shut the gates to keep my two dogs out. They learned quickly and the gates have worked out amazing for my needs. So after the test run I order 2 more gates and love them. Easy to use I did not use the mounts or extra piece. I tried on one but I think the gate is much sturdy without the extra piece. I originally had it set up in the hallway with the mounts and extra piece that was a nightmare the kids kept knocking it down. Afterwards a did notice I may have put the mounts on backwards. So this may have been my fault.

I bought this gate to keep my puppy from going upstairs in our house and I've had it for a month now and I love it. It doesn't need to be nailed into the wall which I like. It's kept in place well against the wall and my rail post by the rubber nobs and it's really easy to open. It also looks good. The gate is about 28 inches and I extended mine 1.5 inches on each side.

Easy to install if you have a power drill to screw in the wall mounts for extra support. I had help installing it because it's hard to measure. With just the pressure alone it does not feel safe. I like that the gate only swings one way and you have to push down on handle to activate the lock. The safety lock is sometimes not easy to open with one hand. The opening is very narrow to walk through. It's nice to have the extensions and i like the metal but your baby can get hurt on the metal rails if they do not have proper balance yet. Overall it does the job.

After shopping around for a baby gate, and returning one to Babies R Us, I was shocked at the price of this walk through gate. I read the reviews saying the quality didn't meet some expectations, and 1 review said it didn't fit a 36 inch doorway, which I needed. I ordered 2 of these gates anyway and thought I'd try my luck. The gate fit just fine in my 36 inch doorway. As you're shopping and reading descriptions, make sure you look for the measurement you need. We definitely needed the extension that came with this gate. Features I like: The option of only pressure mounting the gate, no drilling or tools needed. The walk through feature - the door can be left open when baby is sleeping. The safety lock (which takes more time when opening or closing# doesn't have to be used. THE PRICE The welding isn't perfect #one complaint I read#, but there are certainly no sharp edges as described. *When you install the gate, make sure you put the bottom of the gate on the ground. We had to adjust ours because there was a slight gap #our mistake) which made the door not close very smoothly. But lowering the gate to the ground fixed the issue. If you don't want to spend $60+ on a single gate, I highly recommend this gate!

I was cage training my puppy and thought it was time to get him out of there so I use this gate on my hallway and leave him in there when I go to work. There was just one time that I got home from work and found the gate wide open and my puppy free around the house, but no accidents and my husband fixed the issue.
