You have the option to install without drilling holes which is a plus. It is recommended to drill if this gate is placed at the top of stairs. Sturdy, really easy to set-up. Comes with an extended piece for larger openings. Looks good. My one complaint is that the 'latch/handle' where you open the gate is plastic and seem like over time, it could be annoying. Sometimes it gets stuck.

I purchased this gate for my puppie to keep him in the kitchen when he is eating (he likes to take food into my living room & eat it on the rug ugggg!) anyway I got it and was frustrated because I to do some assembly (Me & Manual Labor dont get along). To my amazement it was super easy and took me only 10 minutes to set it up! As long as you actually read the instructions assembly is really not complicated at all. I did not screw it into the walls because i did not want holes and it is only to confine a 6 lb Yorkie. Well, the gate does exactly what it suppose to do and it actually looks good. it is very sturdy and I love the fact that i dont have to step over the gate as I had to do with the previous gate i had or either keep removing it and putting it back up which is very annoying. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because although its great that i dont have to keep taking it down, putting it up or stepping over it is the gate has a bar at the bottom that sits on the floor and in the middle of the night i was half sleep and went to use the bathroom and forgot about the bar and tripped over it. And i have a feeling that wont be the only time that will happen to myself or house guest. other then that the gate is great. specially for the price. I would definately recommend it but warn you about the late night potty trips LOL!

I have to admit I am not the best at putting things together but this product was easy to install. It is very sturdy. My husband does not like putting holes in the wall for anything and this gate does a wonderful job without being screwed into the wall. My son is 19 months and had a meltdown yesterday when he could not get into the kitchen. He banged and pulled and was even hanging from the gate at one point and the gate stood its ground. Also the latch is very easy to operate. The latch itself is probably made to use with two hands but once you get the hang of it, you can open it with one hand very easily. Overall this gate is awesome and I am getting another now to go upstairs.

I recently moved to a townhouse with stairs and was looking for a gate that wasn't too expensive! I was going back and forth because this one was so cheap! We decided to try it! It came in about a week and was extremely easy to install! Definitely read the instructions and the tag on the gate! I think I might buy another one for the top of the stairs!

Babysitting our granddaughter has meant a considerable dollar investment to adapt our home for her safety. Like many others these days, we became grandparents later in life than expected and no longer feel safe trying to climb over a gate multiple times a day. This product met both needs, lower price and safe access. This gate is very easy to install, is adjustable for multiple opening sizes, has a closure that can be either easily opened with one hand or more securely locked for older children. All-in-all, I am more than pleased with this purchase.

They are nice at first but the latch will break internally and nobody sells replacement parts. I have 2 Regalo baby gates and the latches broke on both gates, I was able to fix one with JB weld which held up longer than the original cheap plastic internals but now that it's broken I'm stressed because there are no replacement parts available and I modified my kitchen to fit this particular gate. So now I have to choose the ease of buying another Regalo which I know will break in a few months or try a different brand and unmodify my kitchen entryway.

I bought this gate to use to block off my 5 yr old's room from the baby. I specifically wanted a pressure mount gate because I didn't want holes to fill in later. This gate is exactly what I was looking for. It installed easily; I followed the directions and was able to install it by myself in just a few minutes. My 5 yr old is able to open and close the gate without any trouble. Now his toys are safe from baby, and baby is safe from big-kid toys. Perfect! I love it so much I ordered a second one for the master bedroom.

I'm not sure how a baby gate gets better than this. It's cheap, it's tall, it's wide, it locks, and it doesn't need to be screwed in the wall. It CAN be screwed down, but we've never had an issue of it moving just from the pressure option, and we've had it for over a year now. The 4 ends have an adjustable bolt that you screw in or out to keep it in place with just pressure, and that's all you need. To be fair, it's the only baby gate I've ever used, but again, I don't know how it gets better than this.

I am very impressed with this product. I was worried that it would not me my expectations because it was so cheap. Well it meets all my expectations. So much easier than the other gate we were using. Our four pit bulls have not been able to knock it down or destroy it. Love it.

I bought this gate because it was the cheapest "easy open" gate I could find. However, it is HAZARDOUS for children. My 4-year-old son got his finger caught in the latch (there are multiple areas on the latch that can easily pinch) and had to be taken to the ER to get stitches. So saving $15 on the gate ended up costing us a ridiculous medical bill.
