The shipping was lightning fast. The transaction extra smooth. Walmart rocks. And I would've given this product a 5 star rating, except that the door scrapes slightly on the bottom bar, when closing. Nothing so major that a slight lift of the handle when closing, won't cure. This opens only one way, if that's an issue for potential buyers. (But obviously, it can open either in or out, depending how you install it.) It's approx 31" high and I put it in a 29 & 1/2" doorway. The gate-door itself is approx 17 inches, so it's a nice slim size. Bottom line? Great price, nice enuf' item, pressure-mounts screw tight. Oh, and my 6lb Maltese can get thru it closed...but then, she can squeeze thru most everything. Tee-hee.

was very pleased with this product. Firstly was a very reasonable price and the product is of a very high standard. Was very simple and easy to put together and assembled in about 10 mins. I have used this at the base of my stairs and have used the pressure mounted attachments. Will probably use this until my son ( 9 mnts ) starts to rattle on the gate then just to be safe will probably screw the mounts to the stair rails. Was very impressed that this product has the option to pressure mount or screw. Very happy with my purchase.

Better than I expected it to be since it is so much cheaper than other brand gates. I use this gate for the entrance to my kitchen & it serves its purpose well. The opening is small so I wouldnt recommend it to someone that is large. I would say the munchkin gate I have that is very similar to this one is for sure sturdier than this gate so I'm glad I have that one over the stairs & not this one. This gate would be good over the stairs if you rarely will be opening & closing it. Overall I'm happy with it & have been using it for about 4 months now.

This gate is very useful in my house. I have 3 dogs, it is wonderful to keep them out of our bedroom. I really liked the option we did not have to make any holes in our door frame to install this gate. It is a wonderful and very easy to use not like the gates you have to move completely or step over to get through the doorway. It is perfect and I will buy another one.

This is a great gate to own. Especially if you have a strong baby. It's easy to assemble and you can pick if you want to mount the wall things. The only thing is that the "doorway" of this gate isn't too big. I would very much so recommend this gate to people thinking about it. AND IT'S ONLY $35 !!!

I was looking for a barrier with a gate that my 4 year old could operate but my 1 year old couldn't. This gate seems to fit the bill though it may not fit securely enough without the wall cups to stand up to the little guys bull dozing. It seems to want to slip on the wall.

I purchased this gate for my puppie to keep him in the kitchen when he is eating (he likes to take food into my living room & eat it on the rug ugggg!) anyway I got it and was frustrated because I to do some assembly (Me & Manual Labor dont get along). To my amazement it was super easy and took me only 10 minutes to set it up! As long as you actually read the instructions assembly is really not complicated at all. I did not screw it into the walls because i did not want holes and it is only to confine a 6 lb Yorkie. Well, the gate does exactly what it suppose to do and it actually looks good. it is very sturdy and I love the fact that i dont have to step over the gate as I had to do with the previous gate i had or either keep removing it and putting it back up which is very annoying. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because although its great that i dont have to keep taking it down, putting it up or stepping over it is the gate has a bar at the bottom that sits on the floor and in the middle of the night i was half sleep and went to use the bathroom and forgot about the bar and tripped over it. And i have a feeling that wont be the only time that will happen to myself or house guest. other then that the gate is great. specially for the price. I would definately recommend it but warn you about the late night potty trips LOL!

I just got my gate today 9-6-2017 it was so easy to put up and works great I'm so happy I decided to buy this gate it was not very expensive and works grate for my older kids to get through and the keep my baby out of the kitchen I would defentley recommend getting this gate if you are trying to keep little ones out of areas in your house I was sick of having to step over our old gate this is great cause now all we have to do is open it and close it I'm a very happy mama

Not quite what I expected. Didn't fit all areas as expected/described. Definitely not able to "open" with one hand! Skinny opening - but expected that, as described in other reviews. Not able to use tension mount - wasn't sturdy or safe #ended up physically mounting to wall#

I did quite a bit of research before buying this. It is a great value for the money. I have to admit that my husband installed it but he said it wasn't difficult. He did not need the extension and the wall caps work fine. It is exactly what I was looking for. I needed it to keep my dogs out of my grand children's room. Our one dog will eat anything that isn't tied down. We had an expandable gate across the hall opening and were constantly tripping over it. We do not need to use the locking feature because it is sturdy enough and a deterrent enough to keep the dogs on the other side. The door works easily. I am really pleased with it and glad that I have it.
