Old school boom box but with current technology. Sounds good and the lights are festive. Good value and for those with cassettes this is the one you can get to play on it! Reception is good for the radio function.

I love this ION Retro Glow boom box! Takes me back to the 1980s, listening to my boom box in the yard in the summer listening to the Top 40 countdown! And watching MTV, getting ready to record my favorite music, waiting patiently with my fingers on the Play and Record buttons to get the song from the beginning. So rad! That aside, the lights are awesome, the radio has great reception for all the AM and FM stations in my town, and the sound is really good for playback. I especially like the tape player which allows me to play all my old cassettes (yes, I still have all of mine!) Also, the Bluetooth feature is super cool. I can stream any of my music platforms with no problems. Now, what this Retro Glow Boom Box also has, that I love, is the ability to Record from cassette AND from Bluetooth to either USB or MicroSD. What I learned when doing this is that your destination media (USB or MicroSD) must be formatted in either FAT, FAT32 or exFAT storage formats. NTFS was not recognized by this device. Also, the largest storage capacity for either USB or MicroSD was 64GB. It would not recognize drives larger than that. The rechargeable battery life is also very good so far. I usually charge it fully, then use it until the battery dies before recharging. I usually get 6 to 7 hrs of continuous use. The speakers are great for sitting on the patio, or by the pool, playing tunes. There is a Bass Boost feature, as well as Bass and Treble controls. I get a lot of smiles from people coming over for drinks when I put the music on. Love it!

Brings me great memories of the 80s I even dusted off my cardboard and started using that again. Ha It’s pretty cool that it’s chargeable so it’s not too heavy, but it does have the options of putting in batteries like back in the days. If you want a quick workout load it up with those batteries. Really cool boombox thinking of getting another one for the office.

Pretty well-made compared to what I expected. The sound quality is decent. I love the radio. The bluetooth is easy to connect. And the lights really add something to it when it's dark.

As soon as I received this in the mail, I got very excited! This speaker gives off a retro vibe. It can play cassette tapes, okay the radio, or hook up to your devices via bluetooth. The battery states that it can last for over 20 hrs in one charge. However, haven't had the chance to try the limit of the battery yet. It can also be utilize while it's plugged in. Overall, I'm really glad about this speaker! Oh and it also comes with different settings for the LED lights.

Ok, I am in love! This is the coolest boom box ever. I never got one as a kid in the 80s and was always jealous of anyone that did. However, I’m glad that I have this one as my first one! I love the option to pair with Bluetooth, and the light display. But the coolest option is the option to make mix tapes again from the radio!

This radio is fun for all different generations. For someone my age, it is a throwback to cassette players and AM/FM radio. My grandchildren came over and were so enthralled with the antenna, having to turn the dial to try and find stations, not to mention the flashing lights, which can be turned off. What is great about this radio is that even though it has a nostalgic flair, it also has all the modern wireless technology of Bluetooth and a USB port. I synced my iPhone with the Retro Glow and could hear my podcast throughout the house.

Well the whole family is in love with boom box! The kids love the ability of going back and using something their parents used in the 80’s. It made my husband super happy with this item, he has told us so many stories!! Since we got it he has used it every day!
